For many young males on the NDIS, social connection is disappearing.

Funding cuts and rising support costs are leaving families with fewer options — and too many participants stuck at home, isolated, bored, and disconnected.

That’s exactly why we have created Kidz Crew!

Kidz Crew is a fun, affordable social program designed specifically for young male participants who want connection, routine, friendship and a place where they genuinely feel welcome.

Hosted at the Shape Your Support HQ, participants can enjoy:

🎮 PS5 & Nintendo Switch 2
💻 Gaming PCs & computers
🧱 LEGO building
🎨 Art room
🏓 Table tennis
🎱 Pool table
⚽ Foosball
🎯 Electronic darts
🎲 Board games

…and plenty more.

With a supportive 1:3 ratio, participants get the balance of independence, social interaction and support — without the massive funding costs many programs now require.

💰 ONLY $106.60 of NDIS funding per fortnight.

We built Kidz Crew because social supports shouldn’t disappear just because budgets are tighter.

Every young person deserves connection.

Every young person deserves somewhere to belong.

With the colder weather you will see more activities that are indoors but that doesn't mean that they won't be a huge amount of fun!

A big thank you to all of the awesome businesses around Geelong and Melbourne who always ensure we have a great time with them 💚

Taking a moment today to celebrate one of our longest serving team members Harrison Poyner 🙌

Harrison joined the team at the start of 2021 before we even had a team of 10 people and has been massive for us ever since.

It would be tricky to try and calculate the positive impact that he has made on the lives of the participants that he has supported during that time but it would be huge!

Since returning from a well deserved holiday Harrison has some capacity to take on new clients on Monday and Tuesday.

If you are after an experienced disability support worker that has been committed to his participants and the industry for multiple years then look no further than this man.

If you would like to have a meet and greet with Harrison completely free of charge then comment on this post and we will get in contact with you to arrange it 💚

It's that time again to welcome some new team members into the fold!

We only hire four times per year and this will be our only hiring round for quarter two in 2026 ⏰

At Shape Your Support, we don’t just fill shifts — we mentor, empower, and make a difference in the lives of the people we support. If you're a Disability Support Worker or looking to become one this is your chance to do meaningful work alongside a team that cares about it's people.

Our mission is to be the leading provider of gender-tailored support in Geelong — stepping in where families need us most and becoming trusted, reliable role models in our participants’ lives.

We’re now looking for a few exceptional people to join us.

The type of people who thrive with us:

- You show up for the right reasons — you care about people, not just money.
- You’re committed to the craft of support work and open to learning and feedback.
- You lead with empathy over ego — always about the team, not the spotlight.
- You do what’s right, even when it’s not the easy option.
- You are genuine, reliable, kind, and great with people.
- You are an excellent communicator and an organised person.

What makes us different?

We don’t just fill shifts—we build lasting relationships and become a trusted part of our participants’ lives.

We invest in culture, training, and development, ensuring our team members grow alongside the people they support.

Kidz Crew is officially taking off this weekend 🚀

We are very excited to share that our brand new and cheapest ever program launches this Saturday!

We know that the NDIS is currently putting the pressure on budgets, so we wanted to develop a more funding-friendly program option for our participants that are 12 and under.

Kidz Crew will run fortnightly on a Saturday and maintain a minimum ratio of 1:3, meaning the entire three hour program will use only $106.60 of funding.

To ensure we meet the support standards our participants expect, Kidz Crew will be delivered from 9am to 12pm at our new HQ instead of in the community at places like the Zoo or Bounce.

Transportation to and from the program also won't be an option due to the higher support ratios.

If this sounds like a program that you would be interested and a 1:3 ratio sounds appropriate, simply comment on this post and we will give you a call to chat about how we can get you involved 💚

Saturday programs are now live for term 2!

You will notice the addition of Kidz Crew fortnightly which is a brand new program that we run to cater for those participants with tighter budgets.

The entire cost of one day of Kidz Crew is almost as cheap as a single hour of 1:1 support during the week 🤯

The minimum support ratio for Kidz Crew is 1:3 so if that is a support ratio that makes sense and you are looking to get social without the higher cost it could be just the program for you.

We can't wait to see you then 💚
