National Reconciliation Week is a time to reflect, listen, learn and recommit to the ongoing work of reconciliation.

This year’s theme, All In, is a powerful reminder that reconciliation is not passive - it requires courage, accountability, respect and action from all of us.

As a First Nations and Supply Nation allied health provider, Cameron Wellness Centre recognises the importance of walking alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families and communities in a way that is culturally responsive, strengths-based and grounded in trust.

For us, reconciliation is not limited to one week. It must be reflected in how we show up, how we listen, how we build relationships, and how we deliver care that respects each person’s story, culture and connection to community.

This National Reconciliation Week, we reaffirm our commitment to being All In - not just in words, but through meaningful action, genuine partnership and continued learning.

A very proud week for our Cameron Wellness Centre team as we celebrate our newest graduates from Charles Darwin University and La Trobe University 🎓✨

Congratulations to Brittney Davis, Emma Ward and Grainne McCormick, who have graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy from Charles Darwin University.

Congratulations also to Emma Huang and Jersyn Doh, who have graduated with a Master of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University, and Caitlin Aldcroft, who has graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from La Trobe University.

Each of you should be incredibly proud of this milestone. Graduation represents years of commitment, discipline, learning, reflection and growth - and it is also the beginning of an exciting new chapter as allied health professionals.

At Cameron Wellness Centre, we are privileged to support emerging clinicians as they step into meaningful careers across Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology. Our new graduates bring energy, curiosity, compassion, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of the children, families, and communities we support.

We are proud to walk alongside you as you continue to grow, learn and contribute to the future of allied health.

Congratulations again, Brittney, Emma W, Grainne, Emma H, Jersyn and Caitlin - we are so proud to have you as part of the CWC team 🖤💛❤️

Today we honour the mothers, mother figures, grandmothers, aunties, carers and special people who give so much of themselves - often quietly, often selflessly, and always with love.

At Cameron Wellness Centre, we are privileged to work alongside families every day. We see the strength it takes to advocate, nurture, support, encourage and keep showing up, even on the days that feel heavy.

Mother’s Day is a moment to pause and recognise the people who hold space for others, who celebrate every small step forward, and who remind us that care is one of the most powerful forms of love.

To all the incredible women and mother figures in our community - we see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you today.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Cameron Wellness Centre. 💗

Today, Cameron Wellness Centre was proud to attend the School of Health and Social Development | Placement Expo 2026 at Deakin University’s Geelong Waterfront Campus.

Representing CWC were our Director, Reece Dumbell, and our Head of Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement, Nadine Toic, who had the opportunity to connect with future Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Social Work professionals as they explore placement pathways, graduate employment opportunities and the next steps in their allied health careers.

At Cameron Wellness Centre, we are passionate about supporting the next generation of clinicians through meaningful learning opportunities, culturally responsive practice, and exposure to the real-world impact of community-based allied health services across the NDIS, aged care, early childhood and regional and remote service delivery.

A sincere thank you to Deakin University for hosting such a valuable event and for creating a space where students, educators and placement agencies can come together to strengthen the future workforce.

We look forward to continuing to build strong university partnerships and supporting students to grow with confidence, purpose and connection.

Today, we pause to remember and honour the courage, service and sacrifice of all Australians and New Zealanders who have served.

At Cameron Wellness Centre, ANZAC Day invites reflection on the values that help shape strong communities - respect, resilience, service and connection.

As an organisation grounded in Family, Community, Trust, and Respect, we are reminded that remembrance is not only about looking back, but also about how we show up for one another today with care, compassion and a deep commitment to the people and communities we serve.

Lest we forget.
