🎉 Celebrating 20 Years of Raising Children Network

For two decades, Raising Children Network has been a trusted source of accurate, evidence-based parenting information. In today’s “wild wild web,” where ideas can be overwhelming or conflicting, reliable guidance matters more than ever.

✨ As Thriving Kids prepares to roll out, websites like this will be a cornerstone resource for families. Because information is power: the more parents learn, the better equipped they are to support their child’s growth and wellbeing.

💡 This week, we invite parents to invest in their own knowledge, because every step you take to understand your child’s world makes a difference.

Hunter couldn't yet speak, but he was a boy bursting with character and fierce emotion. His mother Cassie came to therapy with a fire in her heart and determination in her eyes. She had been told her son wouldn't have a chance and she was going to prove them wrong.
10 years on Hunter tells his own story in his own way.

As clinicians and parents, we spend so much time thinking about the right strategies, the right supports, the right next step.
But every now and then, something simple brings us back to what matters most.

In this video, our Director, Laura shares a moment at the park, watching her own children play with another child, and seeing just how much it meant to his parents that their child was wanted in that moment.

It was a powerful reminder that before any therapy approach, technique, or goal… comes connection. Feeling seen. Feeling included. Feeling like you belong.

It’s something we know professionally, but moments like this keep us grounded in it, as people.

For the families we work with, and those just starting to explore support, this is at the heart of everything we do 💛
