After a couple of tough weeks, my daughter convinced me to do a very last minute audition today, a little reminder that life is short and we should always make time for the things we love. ❤️
I haven’t auditioned for anything in 23 years, but I had the time of my life today.

Nothing is better therapy for me than music and singing. 🎶💛
Sharing my song here, hope it brings you a little joy too.

Being in isolation and spending so much time with myself made me want to reconnect with me. I love nothing more in the world than to sing. It is my release, it is my outlet, it is my mindfulness, something I have desperately needed over the past few weeks...
This is the part of me that makes me, me, and too often I put this part of me aside to concentrate on everything else...

The past few weeks have been tough for us... Sometimes we just need to find ourselves again amongst the chaos that life throws us... Singing always helps me regroup and this song is beautiful and grabbed me exactly where I needed it to at the moment.

My voice is feeling a little damaged since I started full time teaching so I apologise for the vocals. I have not sung since my last post, not even in the shower... exhaustion and stress will do that. I wish I could find more time for this these days.

This song is one I have loved forever and never shared it with anyone. It makes me teary every time I hear it and trying to sing it has always been too hard. I love my mum and never want to have to say goodbye, but recently two young girls I taught last year both lost their mamma's to cancer and had to say their last goodbyes. It broke my heart and I wanted to sing this to show all mamma's how important they are to their babies! We love you!

It has been 7 months since I have sung anything... tonight I was inspired to get back into it by a gorgeous bunch of 9 year olds and a dance/glee class 😂 What an amazing and inspirational song this is! Music really does do amazing things and touches so many of us!
