10 months I’ve been in my house, most days I’m still chipping away at the rebuild process.

I have regular moments of feeling pride I guess, and joy for little pleasures- that took effort and vision.

Here- is my wood heater- it looked like crap when I drove solo, one afternoon, after working all day on the house.
A Facebook bargain. This meant I had to hitch a trailer, help load it. And then conquer the task of getting it off the trailer and on to my deck going up 4 flights of stairs.,

Everywhere in my home there are stories. Yep, it’s sweat equity but it’s wholly mine and my effort.

Mum and Rob are safe in Merton ❤️ it’s a huge fire🔥

Currently fire is right in the next property and they can see the flames. Just spoke to mum. They are well prepared and have a plan. The house and farm has a lot of water and sprinklers, they’re in it for the long haul. And in good spirits.

Huge blessing that the winds will stay north, hoping the west wind at noon won’t impact them. 🙏✨🙏

Bilyara Springs is truly being a wildlife haven right now!! As many of you may know they’ve cared and released a lot of wildlife on that property.
