Formerly Home Instead Australia, Dovida provides high-quality, person-centred home care to the Geelong community. Dovida creates a Circle of Care that places individuals at the centre of a holistic support system, uniting families, our skilled caregivers, our support teams, and the wider healthcare community. We provide a range of services including everyday companionship, domestic assistance, personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping and social outings. Care is available up to 24hrs a day and ranges from light housekeeping to dementia care and palliative care.

Navigating the aged care system can feel overwhelming for families across Geelong, the Bellarine, and the Surf Coast.

To help you feel confident, here is a simple breakdown of how the assessment process works:
Step 1: Contact My Aged Care — Apply online at myagedcare.gov.au, call 1800 200 422, or ask your GP to submit a referral.
Step 2: Initial Screening — Speak with My Aged Care to discuss your current support needs, clinical or non-clinical requirements, and care urgency.
Step 3: In-Home Assessment — A free 1 to 2-hour assessment in your home explores your goals, medical history, and preferences to recommend tailored support.
Step 4: Assessment Outcome — Once notified of your eligibility and assigned funding, you choose a trusted local provider to manage your care.
