Let's be honest about what makeup can and can't do here in Geraldton.

The sun here doesn't care about your foundation. Neither does the wind.

We stock Synergie Minerals because it's the makeup we're comfortable putting on women who actually spend time outdoors. Mineral-based, built around zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, and formulated to sit with your skin rather than just on top of it.

Two honest things, because you'd rather hear them from us than find out later.

It is not a substitute for sunscreen. Nothing applied with a brush is. Wear your SPF properly, every day, and think of this as what goes over the top.

And "suits most skin types" isn't the same as "suits everyone." If your skin is reactive, we'd rather match you properly than have you guess in a chemist aisle.

Which brings us to the useful part: colour matching is complementary. Come in, we'll test a few shades on your actual face in actual daylight, and you'll leave knowing whether it's for you or not.

You don't need another product. You need to stop doing two of the things you're already doing.

Stop skipping SPF when it's overcast.
Cloud isn't cover. A grey Geraldton day still delivers a serious UV load, and it's the day everyone lets their guard down. The damage isn't done on the days you're thinking about it.

Stop over-exfoliating.
More scrubbing doesn't mean more results. Past a point, you're stripping the barrier everything else depends on, then treating the sensitivity you just caused. If your skin has become reactive over the last year, this is the first place we look.
