With the expansion of our Café Skills program, we're excited to announce that our FULL MENU is now available EVERY DAY we're open! 🎉

That's right! Including our quickly-becoming-locally-famous Breakfast Burrito! 🌯 (Mmmmm... bacon! 🥓😋)

Even better, our newest cohort of Café Skills participants starts tomorrow, and they can't wait to welcome you, build their skills and serve up some delicious food and great coffee!

So come on down, grab a bite and support our participants as they develop their skills and confidence in a real café environment. 💚

Exciting things are happening at Our Café 6530!

The success of the café — and growing interest in our Café Skills Program — means we’re ready to expand and create opportunities for more MWCLA customers to participate.

From Wednesday 14th October, our Café Skills Program will expand to operate across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, instead of just Thursday and Friday.

Our Cooking with Chef Csaba program will also move to Tuesdays. With the café closed on Tuesdays, participants will have Chef Csaba’s full attention in the kitchen, with more time and space to learn, cook and build their skills without the distractions of a busy café.

These changes are all about creating more meaningful opportunities for people living with a disability to learn, participate and develop everyday skills.
As we transition to our expanded program, we’d love your continued support.

Every coffee, breakfast or lunch you purchase helps make programs like these possible.

Every week, people living with a disability are getting involved in real café activities — learning new skills, building confidence and gaining practical experience alongside our café team.

From preparing food and serving customers to learning the sales system and keeping the café running, each task is an opportunity to learn by doing.

Answer: Our Café 6530 is more than just a café. On days we’re closed to the public, our café and kitchen facilities are used for MWCLA programs, providing customers with opportunities to learn, practise and build everyday life skills.
