After giving birth and becoming a mother, it’s like your brain is a filing cabinet that has been emptied out completely.

This is grounded in science too, not just a metaphor.

Your neuroplasticity actually increases during pregnancy and after birth and unused pathways are trimmed so you can adapt to your new role of motherhood, enhancing your ability to learn, grow and bond with your baby.

Many ancient cultures understand this.

That’s why they honour, celebrate and support mothers and don’t just hold the baby. They hold the mother too.

They fill her with love, ceremony and respect which helps her to feel valued, confident and supported as a woman, mother and village member, which ripples through her, the baby and future ancestors.

However, many mothers in modern society aren’t supported, honoured or valued and often feel overwhelmed, anxious and isolated.

Their brains are being wired with stress, low self worth and lack of purpose, which can have long-term effects in years to come - even once the kids have left the nest!

What was your brain wired with when you first became a mother, whether it was your first time or fifth?

Maybe you were in an oxytocin bubble of bliss! Maybe you were, but someone or something burst it. Or maybe a blissful bubble never existed right from the start.

If you feel you weren’t honoured as you should have been, a Womb Hara massage culminating in a feminine soul retrieval can be a beautiful way to initiate healing, closure and rebirth as a mother.

Feel held and experience an oxytocin bubble of bliss like Mother Nature intended - Even if it’s 20 years later!

This can also be a special gift for a friend, family member or colleague!

“Hara” translates to abdomen and stomach in Japanese, but it’s more than just the physical aspects.

The Hara includes the spiritual and energetic dimensions as well.

The Hara is where life force energy flows into the body, serving as our body’s battery that stores and radiates energy and vitality throughout.

It serves as the body’s centre of gravity, contributing to groundedness, stability and emotional balance.

It is also the home of one’s true nature and spirit.

In Japanese martial arts, cultivating the energy in the Hara is imperative, as they draw upon their hara for balance, power and force during combat.

When someone receives a Womb Hara massage from me, I find that it is only when I work with the Hara that they truly begin to relax and return to their natural state of being. Or even fall asleep! I find this in reiki too.

Over the years, old emotions, experiences and even trauma can become stored in the abdominal region, organs and energetic field.

Womb Hara massage incorporates bodywork, ritual and breathwork to gently release past hurts and wounds without requiring the mind to revisit the past.

This practice promotes a well-balanced Hara and facilitates the vital flow of energy through the body, helping you feel grounded, vitality and Zen.

While I’m grateful for advanced AI in some ways and see its benefits, like editing grammar, which is a big help for me since my grammar is shocking - I do feel that advanced AI is becoming overwhelming.

It’s taking over social media, movies and music…

It’s shifting humanity and creating disconnection and a distortion of reality.

But AI in the end is a robot.

It will never take over nature, our life lessons, our rites of passage, our intuition, our body’s communication, our cycles, Earth’s seasons, the cosmos, sitting around a campfire or our humanness.

It will never embody heart, sacredness, oxytocin or femininity.

It won’t ever hold space for us and truly see, feel and hear us - the tears, the laughter, the tapestry of feelings and emotions.

It will never give us a swim in the ocean, a breath of fresh air, human touch or human connection.

It will never give us woman to woman.

It will never provide the human experience.

Stay human!!!

I believe womb hara massage is so healing for the sisterhood wound, as it involves trusting another woman to hold space for you.

You need to trust enough to relax, become vulnerable and be touched in areas you don’t usually expose or have massaged, such as your womb space, your feminine centre (that’s where all the wisdom, creativity & life force energy is!)

Trusting someone enough to work with your physical and energetic body, releasing physical tension and energetic blockages.

Trusting in being nurtured by the feminine so your feminine energy can flow, helping you return to your feminine state of being.

This isn’t something new either.

It’s a remembrance.

We’ve been nurturing, holding space and embracing our feminine power for each other since the beginning of time.

It’s not lost.

It’s just suppressed/opressed and waiting to be activated!

The level of trust my clients have in me does not go unnoticed! I’m so grateful. Thank you.

Many women today struggle with body image issues and think their tummies should look a certain way.

This self-consciousness is largely due to cultural and social conditioning, as well as media portrayals.

Expectations often dictate how women should feel about their bodies, making attention to the stomach feel uncomfortable, embarrassing or taboo.

The stomach and abdomen can also be sensitive areas for some women and touch might feel uncomfortable or intrusive.

I certainly don’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable or as though I’m intruding. Perhaps it’s because we rarely receive massages in these areas that we feel this way!

With Womb Hara massage through gentle touch & technique you’ll release old emotions and stories and rewire your connection and association with your tummy so you can increase your body confidence!

Sometimes women come to their Womb Hara Massage sessions feeling nervous.

This is often the case for those who wish to release old memories, unwanted experiences and trauma.

They may feel anxious because they think they’ll be forced to talk about their past or because they’re unsure about having their womb space and abdomen touched, an area they’ve disconnected from because of the past.

However, they soon relax when I remind them that they’re here for a nurturing massage, not talk therapy. They relax even more once the massage begins!

I also guide them through the massage before we begin so their mind knows what to expect. If at any time they want me to discontinue certain techniques, they can let me know.

This is the feminine path to healing: slow, gentle and focused on the physical and energetic body.

There is no forcing or quick fixes and the focus is not on talking or the mind.

Of course, if someone wants to share something verbally, they are free to do so!

However, I will say that this massage potentially “stirs the inner cauldron,” clearing any stagnant energy and shifting the old stories and emotions residing within your organs, tissues and fascia.

It can even release something you didn’t know you were holding onto, helping you let go of what’s holding you back so you can move forward.

It’s normal to experience an emotional release.

It’s just weather. Just as Mother Nature has her weather.

But only what is ready to surface will, depending on where you are at in your life’s spiral. Again… no forcing!

Emotions may surface during the massage, afterward or even a couple of days later.

I’m here to hold space and guide my clients if needed. Nothing is too much for me, as I love a good emotional release myself!

It’s also normal to not have an emotional release.

However the session unfolds, is how it is meant to be.
