Whether you sampled a tea, purchased a blend, shared a story, joined the newsletter, or simply stopped for a chat, thank you for supporting a small family business built from a dream, a love of herbs, and a little farm in country Queensland.

🌿 Everstrong wasn't originally created for the Eden's Tea collection.
It began when a dear friend was diagnosed with osteoarthritis and asked if there were herbs that could help support his body naturally.
I started researching herbs traditionally used to nourish the body with minerals and provide the nutritional building blocks needed for healthy bones, connective tissue and tissue repair. The result was Everstrong.
Since then, I've had customers tell me they reach for it during recovery after surgery (I did too), while healing from injury, and even after one too many wines the night before. 🤭
At its heart, Everstrong is all about nourishment, rebuilding and resilience.

These mighty herbs form the foundation of the blend:
🌿 Nettle — A mineral powerhouse: calcium, magnesium, silica, vitamins C, D & K. It feeds your bones and protects them by reducing the inflammatory cascade that drives joint breakdown.
🌾 Oat Straw — A powerhouse of calcium, magnesium, silica, iron, zinc and vitamins B & E. Consistent use improves bone density, coordination, balance and mental clarity.
🌺 Herb Robert — Rich in rare trace minerals including germanium, which facilitates oxygen transport directly into cells. Inflamed, oxygen-starved joint tissue is a hallmark of arthritis. This herb goes there.
🐴 Horsetail — The highest plant source of silica. Calcium without silica is bricks without mortar. Horsetail also actively inhibits the cells responsible for breaking bone down.
🧠 Brahmi — A powerful tissue rebuilder. Accelerates wound healing, stimulates collagen cross-linking, and supports neurological recovery after surgery, pain, or a big night. 🤭
🍃 Gotu Kola — The most clinically studied herb for connective tissue repair. Stimulates collagen synthesis, builds new blood vessels, and delivers oxygen and nutrients straight to healing tissue.

If not, this beautiful annual event transforms Maryborough’s Portside Precinct and Queens Park into a vibrant celebration of regional food, local makers, live entertainment, artisan products and incredible flavours from across Queensland. Think sunshine, riverside wandering, gourmet feeds, handcrafted creations and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and savour the day.

🌿 One of my favourite parts of Eden’s Tea is creating blends that truly fit the person drinking them.

A beautiful mama-to-be recently reached out wanting immune support during pregnancy, but unfortunately couldn’t safely use our regular Immunity blend due to some of the stronger herbs it contains.

So, into the herb apothecary I went...

After lots of careful consideration, additional research, balancing flavour, gentleness and purpose, this custom pregnancy-friendly blend was born.

Herbs aren’t just for tea 🌿
Yesterday the hayfever hit me hard 🤧
So I wandered out to the herb garden and made myself a simple herbal steam inhaler straight from the earth to the bowl.

👀 Can you guess what herbs are floating in this little botanical potion?

🌿 Oregano
🌿 Thyme
🌿 Rosemary
…you’d be spot on 💯🔥

So why these herbs specifically?
🌿 Oregano
Traditionally valued for its strong aromatic oils, oregano contains compounds like carvacrol and thymol which are often used in herbalism to support the respiratory system. The steam feels deeply clearing when the sinuses are clogged and heavy.
🌿 Thyme
One of my favourite herbs for the lungs and airways. Thyme has long been used traditionally to help open the chest and support easier breathing. The warm herbal vapour can feel soothing when everything feels irritated and sneezy.
🌿 Rosemary
Rosemary is wonderfully invigorating. Its strong aromatic oils create that “clear headed” feeling and may help you feel less foggy and congested.

🌱Herbal steam inhalers are one of those old-fashioned herbal remedies that feel beautifully grounding.
You simply place fresh herbs into hot water, lean carefully over the bowl, cover your head with a towel and gently breathe in the steam for a few minutes.
The warm moisture can help:
• loosen congestion
• moisten irritated airways
• support sinus drainage
• deliver soothing aromatic plant oils directly through inhalation 🌿

⚠️ Just a gentle reminder:
- Steam is HOT, so always be careful around boiling water.
- Keep eyes closed if the herbs feel too strong.
- Not suitable for very young children.

Running a small herbal tea business sometimes means spending your morning printing microscopic “Marshmallow Root” stickers because you lovingly improved a recipe 😅
But honestly, adding Marshmallow Root to the blend for its beautifully soothing, coating qualities for the digestive system was worth adding to Yummy Tummy. Such a beautifully soothing herb for irritated, unhappy tummies.
