Time to Reintroduce Myself 👋🏻
Hi, my name is Emma Brown. I am a registered paramedic and the Clinical Health and Wellbeing Practitioner at Gentle Sensory.
What is a Clinical Health and Wellbeing Practitioner?
A Clinical Health and Wellbeing Practitioner integrates clinical knowledge, psychosocial support and person-centred care to support holistic health and wellbeing across biological, emotional, social and systemic domains.
My work is grounded in relational, trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming practice, prioritising psychological safety and collaborative care.
I work alongside individuals, families and multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated support, promote self-understanding and capacity-building, address barriers to accessibility and contribute to safer, more inclusive systems and better health outcomes.
✅ My Specialist Areas
Neurodiversity: Offering neuro-affirming support that celebrates different ways of thinking and being.
Trauma, Nervous System & Complex Emotional Regulation: Particularly CPTSD, rejection sensitivity, burnout, interoception, emotional regulation, relational safety and the interaction between trauma, neurodivergence and systems of care.
📝 Clinical Focus
I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating:
• Emotional regulation and rejection sensitivity (RSD)
• Neurodivergence and executive functioning support.
• Chronic illness, fatigue and daily living adaptation
• Care coordination, systems navigation and health integration
👩🏻🎓Qualifications & Background
I am committed to evidence-based practice, backed by a Bachelor of Paramedicine and lived experience as a late-diagnosed autistic person
