💚 National Carers Week Morning Tea – You’re Invited!

Are you an unpaid carer supporting a family member, friend or loved one who is living with disability, chronic illness, mental illness, or who is frail or ageing?

Life Choices – Support Services (LC-SS) warmly invites carers from across Glen Innes and our surrounding rural communities to join us for a special National Carers Week Morning Tea.

National Carers Week is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible commitment, resilience and contribution of carers in our community.

This morning is for you – a chance to connect with other carers, enjoy some time out, learn more about local supports and focus on your own wellbeing.

The morning will include a shared morning tea, opportunities to connect with other local carers, information about available supports and a special wellbeing and self-care presentation.

🚌 NEW COMMUNITY ACCESS BUS PILOT PROGRAM 🚌

Life Choices Support Services is pleased to launch our new Community Access Bus Pilot Program, providing convenient door-to-door transport for eligible older people living in Deepwater.

Starting Thursday 11 June 2026, the weekly service will provide return transport between Deepwater and Glen Innes, making it easier to attend appointments, complete shopping, access services, and stay connected with the community.

More residents across Glen Innes Severn will have improved access to essential services, with Council’s Access Bus expanding to include Emmaville, Glencoe, Red Range and Deepwater starting as early as this week.
