🚭 New England CT is proud to partner with Lung Screen Australia to provide high-quality Low Dose CT Lung Screening as part of the Australian Government's 100% Medicare-funded National Lung Cancer Screening Program.

This program is designed to help detect lung cancer early, when treatment options are often more effective and health outcomes can be significantly improved.

Lung cancer is Australia's fifth most common cancer and remains the leading cause of cancer-related deaths. Early detection can save lives.
Common symptoms of lung cancer may include:
• A new or changing cough
• Coughing up blood
• Unexplained shortness of breath
• Persistent tiredness or fatigue
• Unexplained weight loss
• Chest or shoulder pain that doesn't go away

If you are eligible and have a history of smoking, talk to your GP about whether lung screening is right for you.

If you are experiencing any of the symptoms above, don't wait—please speak with your GP or healthcare professional as soon as possible.

Local screening and reporting available right here in Glen Innes through New England CT.

Early detection. Better outcomes. Peace of mind

We’d love to welcome everyone to our Open Day, tomorrow! as we celebrate the launch of our new venture!

Come down, check out the transformation of the building, and get a first look at our newly installed CT scanner.

It’s been a huge journey to get here, and we’re excited to finally share it with the community.

It’s with a bit of ironic delight that our very first CT patient was none other than Howard Eastwood!

Howard was one of the pioneering radiographers to work here in Glen Innes, and his longstanding dedication to the Glen Innes Severn community—through his work, employment, and even his doctoral history of the town—is truly inspiring.
A fitting reminder of what can be achieved in a close-knit country community.

We couldn’t have asked for a more meaningful way to begin.
