💙 Did you know?
The Māori word for autism is takiwātanga.
It means “in their own time and space.”
A beautiful way of recognising that autistic people experience the world uniquely — moving, learning, and connecting in ways that honour who they are, not who they’re expected to be.

Takiwātanga reminds us to slow down, listen, and make space for difference with respect and dignity 🩵

International Day of People with Disability
🌟 The Bridge We Build Together 🌟

Every day, we have an opportunity to support someone in a way that strengthens not only their journey, but our whole community.

Support is more than a moment of kindness — it’s a bridge.
A bridge between where someone is and where they hope to be.

A bridge between struggle and strength.
A bridge between feeling alone and feeling supported.

At RaeCare, we believe that when we extend a helping hand, we become part of something bigger.
Because every act of support — big or small — creates a pathway that someone else can safely walk across.

And when we do this together, those bridges don’t just carry individuals…
They hold up entire communities.

💛 Let’s keep showing up for one another.
💛 Let’s keep building bridges that lift people higher.
💛 Support creates connection — and connection creates positive change.

One Small Action Can Change Everything - Here's How: The Ripple Effect

A young boy once skipped a stone across a still lake.
As the ripples travelled outward, an older man sitting nearby said:

"It's amazing, isn't it? How one small action can reach so far."

The boy shrugged. “It's just a rock.”

The man smiled.
"Maybe. But kindness works the same way. One small act can travel further than you ever see — lifting someone’s day, easing someone’s load, reminding them that they matter."

At RaeCare, this is what we believe in.
Every gentle word.
Every moment of patience.
Every act of genuine care.
It all creates ripples — and those ripples become change.

Be the ripple today.
