What if I told you Candida often isn’t the underlying cause of Thrush?

It’s often a sign that more is going on, especially if it’s reoccurring. So are you treating the cause or are you just treating the symptom?

For all things vaginal Microbiome, including recurrent thrush, BV, AV, and other vaginal symptoms, book in for an appointment with vaginal Microbiome expert Brianna. She tests for the underlying factors, to help you get the answers you deserve and get on top of your issues once and for all 🩷

Yes mental health is incredibly complex, and there is rarely a single cause or a single solution. While medications and psychological therapies are essential for many people, there are many natural treatments for depression and anxiety with evidence-based backing.

Saffron -
Saffron has been shown in multiple clinical trials to improve symptoms of mild to moderate depression and anxiety, with some studies finding effects comparable to antidepressants. It may influence serotonin and other neurotransmitters while also reducing inflammation and oxidative stress.

St John’s Wort -
St John’s wort is one of the most extensively researched herbal medicines for mild to moderate depression. For some people it can be highly effective, however it has significant interactions with many medications (including antidepressants, the contraceptive pill, blood thinners, and many others), so it should only be used under professional guidance.

Omega 3 -
Omega-3 fatty acids, particularly those high in EPA, have some of the strongest evidence of any nutritional supplement for depression. They may help reduce neuroinflammation, support healthy brain cell membranes, and improve communication between brain cells.

Magnesium-
Magnesium plays a role in hundreds of biochemical reactions throughout the body, including nervous system function, stress regulation, sleep quality, and neurotransmitter balance. While it isn’t a cure-all, correcting a deficiency or insufficiency can make a meaningful difference for some people.

Exercise -
Exercise consistently ranks among the most effective non-drug interventions for improving mood. It can increase brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), improve sleep, reduce inflammation, enhance stress resilience, and stimulate the release of endorphins and other mood-regulating chemicals. Don’t underestimate it!

Meditation -
Another that is often underestimated! Meditation and mindfulness can reduce chronic stress, calm an overactive nervous system, improve emotional regulation, and help interrupt cycles of rumination. And the research results it shows is incredible! Think of this as like the gym but for your brain.. consistency is key!

Migraine isn’t always about one single trigger. 🧠

Often it’s more of a “threshold” issue where multiple factors slowly stack up until the nervous system reaches its limit.
Poor sleep, stress, hormonal changes, or gut inflammation may each seem manageable on their own… but together they can tip the balance and trigger a migraine.

That’s why migraines can feel random when they may actually be building beneath the surface.
A holistic approach looks at supporting the nervous system, sleep, hormones and gut health.

Not aiming for perfection, but building resilience so that threshold becomes harder to exceed.
