The pending icy winter mornings call for something warm, comforting, and nourishing!

Breakfast gets boring quick (hence why a lot of you tend to SKIP it… 👀)

So if you’re looking to switch up your usual A.M feed, this Chai-Spiced Pear Porridge is the perfect cosy bowl!

Soft caramelised pear, warming spices, and a creamy bowl of goodness that feels like a hug on a cold morning 🫶

Chai-Spiced Pear Porridge • Serves 1

Ingredients:
• ½ cup rolled oats
• 1 cup milk of choice
• 1 small pear, diced
• ½ tsp cinnamon
• ¼ tsp ground ginger
• Pinch cardamom
• Pinch nutmeg
• 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
• 1 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans

Method:
1. Add oats, milk, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and nutmeg to a saucepan.
2. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. While the oats cook, lightly sauté half the pear in a pan until soft and fragrant.
4. Stir the cooked pear into the porridge.
5. Top with the remaining fresh pear, walnuts, and a drizzle of maple syrup if desired.

Here’s a few little reminders as we step into a fresh month…

You don’t need to have every healthy habit perfectly in place before your start.

The bigger picture can feel overwhelming when you’re staring at it all at once. But every result you’ve ever wanted starts the same way:

Step 1 👉🏻
Book the appointment.
Go for the walk.
Drink the water.
Make the breakfast.
Take the supplement.

That’s it.

Once step 1 is done, step 2 usually feels a whole lot easier. And before you know it, the things that once felt impossible have simply become part of your routine.

Too tired to cook, too hungry for cereal, and too expensive to order takeaway again.

Enter: one-pan chicken fajitas 💥

We love the throw-everything-on-the-tray aesthetic!
Anything to give us more time in the day

Bonus points for being kid-approved, meal-prep friendly, and easy for the “what’s for dinner?” panic moments

Serves 4–6

✨ You’ll need:
• 500g chicken breast, sliced
• 3 bell peppers, sliced
• 1 large red onion, sliced
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• Juice of 1 lime

Fajita seasoning:
• 2 tsp smoked paprika
• 1 tsp cumin
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• ½ tsp oregano
• ½ tsp chilli powder (optional)
• Salt & pepper to taste

For serving:
• Tortillas
• Guacamole
• Salsa or pico de gallo
• Refried beans
• Fresh coriander
• Lime wedges

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 220°C.
2. Add chicken, peppers and onion to a large baking tray.
3. Drizzle with olive oil, lime juice and seasoning. Toss until everything is coated.
4. Spread evenly and bake for 20–25 minutes, tossing halfway through.
5. Warm your tortillas and load them up with your favourite toppings.

Dinner = sorted.
Lunch tomorrow = sorted.
Family fed without creating a mountain of dishes = sorted!
