Helloo!
It's been a little while and it's time for a chat ☕️
Bloom by Shannie started as a house help service in early 2024 as someone who's always wanted to work for myself but this was before our news about baby Alice, I would cook, clean and help families in their homes. Becoming pregnant meant less ability for physical work and close contact with different chemicals, with a heavy heart I had to let my clients go and return to child care service with a team of support.
Since having our baby girl, we have relocated from my work place and wanted to get back into my own business for work with my fitness background- Mini & Me Dance Fitness. Sadly, once again, I've decided to discontinue classes due to 1. profit and loss & 2. Physical ability.
The overheads of hall hiring, insurance and time costs and our last few classes were no shows that put us more into a loss than profit, it takes time to build a business but it's not always financially viable.
Along side, after a natural birth I have pelvis and hip issues that are aggravated by the additional weight as Alice gets older, carriers can be used up to 3 years of age as long as your body is able.
For now I'll be closing Bloom all together 🥲 and focusing on personal projects over at . Finding your feet becoming a parent has its challenges and sometimes what once worked changes. I still care for Alice full time and will continue other work that we can do together ♡
