We live in a time where information is more accessible than ever before. At any moment, we can pick up our phone, ask a question, and have an answer within seconds.

So why do so many of us still feel confused and overwhelmed?

Often, the ability to endlessly research and create the “perfect plan” becomes a form of productive procrastination. We spend so much time thinking about what we should do that we never actually begin.

But here’s the thing: your plan doesn’t need to be perfect. You just need to start.

Take action, see how you feel, and adjust as you go.

Not sure where to start when it comes to your fitness? It depends on your goals.

- Want to improve stability, mobility, and body awareness? Try Pilates.

- Looking to build strength and support muscle mass and bone density? Our Strength classes are a great place to begin.

- Need to reduce stress, support your nervous system, and move more mindfully? We recommend Yoga.

Or maybe you’re not sure what you’ll enjoy most. That’s exactly why we created our Intro Offer, to give you the opportunity to try a little of everything and discover what feels right for you.

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time or the perfect plan, this is your reminder that neither exists.
Now is the best time to start whatever it is you keep saying you will do.

Have a wonderful week 💕

“Even the tide retreats, not in defeat, but to gather its strength. You are allowed to pause. You will return stronger.”

- Dipendra Tamang

We hope you found some moments to rest this weekend.

As you look ahead to a new week and a new month, remember that rest, breathing, and slowing down deserve a place in your schedule just as much as the things you feel you have to do. Taking time to pause isn’t falling behind- it’s often what allows us to move forward with more energy and clarity.

We are excited to welcome you to our expanded yoga timetable starting tomorrow. Whether you need to breathe, move mindfully, or simply take a moment for yourself, we would love to see you in class.

Sometimes the most productive thing we can do is slow down and reconnect.

See you on the mat. 💕

We rarely post about our semi-private clinical classes because they are always at full capacity, but we have recently had a few rare spots have open up.

We currently have availability in:
~ Mondays 1:30 pm - Semi-Private Exercise Physiology with Lauren
~ Mondays 3:00 pm - Fortify (Bone Strength & Osteoporosis Class)
~ Fridays 10:30 am - Fortify

These small-group classes are led by our exercise physiologist and are tailored specifically to your body, goals, injuries, and current capacity. With only a small number of clients per class, we provide individualised guidance and support while helping you build strength, stability, confidence, and resilience in a safe and supportive environment.

An initial assessment is required before starting to learn about your goals, injuries, and imbalances so we can best support you going forward.

If you’ve been wanting more personalised support with your movement, strength, injury rehabilitation, or bone health, reach out- we would love to help you get started.

Today was Day 1 of our Strong Body, Strong Mind Challenge and it was so nice seeing classes full and people stepping outside of their usual routine to try something different.

The beautiful thing about this challenge is that it isn’t about extremes, pressure, or unrealistic expectations. It’s about implementing small supportive choices into your life, whether that’s attending a Yin class, building strength, getting to yoga, or simply taking a few deep breaths throughout the day.

Often we think we need to overhaul everything to feel better, but real change usually comes from consistency in the small things. Supporting our physical and mental health doesn’t need to be all or nothing.

I think a lot of us fall into the pattern of doing everything we think we should do until life gets busy, we miss a workout, have a stressful week, or things don’t go perfectly. Then suddenly everything goes out the window.

The all or nothing mindset is hard to break, but we usually know it doesn’t work long term. There will never be a perfect time to start. Life will always have ups and downs. Motivation comes and goes.

This is where small, consistent changes matter most.
Can we choose one thing that still feels achievable even on the busiest days? Because often the first step to creating lasting habits is consistency, not perfection.
And usually when we start making one positive change, it creates a ripple effect into other areas of our life too.

That’s exactly why our Strong Body, Strong Mind Challenge isn’t about extremes. It’s not about doing a class every day, eating perfectly, or suddenly becoming a completely different person overnight.

It’s about exploring how your body feels when you move regularly. How your mind feels when you slow down and breathe. How your energy, strength, and mindset shift when you consistently support yourself physically and mentally.

Then you get to decide what actually works for you.
You don’t need to feel ready or have the perfect plan.
You just need to start.

If you’re ready for support, structure, and a more sustainable approach to health and movement, we would love to have you join us for the Strong Body, Strong Mind Challenge starting tomorrow. 💕

We posted the other week about 5 things we did right in business, now for the 5 lessons learned since opening Rhythm.

1. Starting a business is expensive and a lot of work.

2. We are not going to be the right fit for everyone and that’s okay.

3. Communication is everything.

4. My instincts usually know before my brain catches up.

5.. Surrounding yourself with the right people matters.

I’m sure this list will keep growing over the years, and hopefully not every lesson has to be learned the hard way. I guess it is all apart of the process though. 💕

Hello! We’ve had so many new followers recently, so we thought it was time to properly introduce ourselves, Rhythm Welness creators Jase and Darla.

Four years ago, we opened the studio with a vision to create a community where people could come together to move, feel better, and support their health in a more holistic way.

Darla is a physiotherapist who wanted to combine therapies with yoga and pilates to help people move better, build stability, and feel stronger in their bodies. Darla’s biggest love is teaching and education, diving into new research and science of the body.

Jase is currently a student of Chinese Medicine but also a passionate yogi who loves sharing the traditional lineage of Hatha Yoga and the tools that have been passed down for generations. Tools that support mental clarity, mindfulness, and stress management.
Outside the studio, we live in Currumbin with our two fur babies and love to spend our time travelling, surfing, and kiteboarding.

We are incredibly passionate about yoga, pilates, movement, and supporting our community to feel good and to move well. When we feel better within ourselves, we can show up better for the world around us!

Thank you for being here and supporting our dream. We hope to see you in the studio soon, and if you ever have any questions, feel to reach out. 💕
