I almost didn’t post this yoga reel… Because I judged my own body first.

I’m 40, I’ve had 3 kids, and right now I’m about 8kg heavier than I feel my best. Last year took a toll on my health, my movement slowed down, and honestly… so did my mindset.

But here’s the shift — I’m finally in a better headspace. Not chasing perfection, just showing up again.

And this is exactly why I am posting it.

Because we need to normalise real bodies.
Bodies that have lived, carried babies, gone through hard seasons, and are still showing up.

What we see online isn’t always reality. Filters, angles, editing… it creates a standard that isn’t just unrealistic — it’s unhealthy. And I’ll be honest, even I get caught up in it sometimes, comparing and striving for “perfect.”

But this is me. Right now.
Not perfect. Not “before and after.” Just in progress.

And that’s enough 🤍

If you’ve ever held yourself back because of how you think you should look… this is your reminder — you don’t have to wait to be worthy of showing up.

…but WOW did I feel more confident and a little bit glamorous once it was on ✨

It’s crazy how makeup can enhance your features without needing a full face! And this isn’t a fancy makeup look but something that made me feel good and that is how makeup should feel for you!

My simple look? Just 5 products and achieved in under 10 minutes 👏

1. Tinted moisturiser (my MUST — as this one colour corrects 🙌)
2. Cinnamon Silk LipSense Cream (lips + blush = versatility )
3. Brow pencil (shape + define = instant frame for your eyes)
4. Glowify Cream Eyeshadow (my “eyeshadow for dummies” 😂 just swipe and go + a little shimmer)
5. Waterproof Mascara (non-negotiable on the GC with this humidity!)

I can’t believe I haven’t shared these with you!! I’m going through these as I’m wearing them so often 👏
Especially since I got Invisalign as my lips are so dry !!

They are so luscious on my lips, smell devine.

They give the slightest tint that’s so pretty.

I often go out with tinted moisturiser, mascara and a lip oil now on my busy mornings.

Fun morning, walking along Currumbin beach with Mum, feet on the sand and in the cool waters edge.

Bonus of getting to see this amazing eagle wow it took my breath away! Using old surfboards to create it wings is really cool.

Grabbed a refreshing ice Latte .currumbin also a yummy Pain au Chocolat for memories of Paris!
