I’ve been living a low-tox lifestyle for years now, which means I’ve already done the hard work of testing countless brands and products.
These aren’t products I’ve found on Google or because they’re trending online. They’re the products I genuinely use, repurchase and love.

Andddd yes...

I still get my hair done.
I sometimes use hairspray and other products that definitely wouldn’t be considered “low-tox.”

HOWEVER...
The majority of my personal care products are low-tox, and these are some of my favourites.
Remember, low-tox living isn’t about perfection. It’s about reducing your overall toxic load where you can.
Think of it like a bucket.
Every product, food, environmental exposure, stressor and lifestyle factor adds a little more to the bucket.
You don’t need to empty the whole thing overnight. Even small changes can make a big difference over time.
The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is to lower the overall load so your body has less to deal with day in and day out.
Progress over perfection, always 🤍

Vlog 2 is LIVE on YouTube.

Come around the twist with us 😉

We packed up the kids and headed to Yamba with a rainy forecast, zero plan, and a whole lot of optimism. It ended up being one of our favourite family trips yet.

Dolphin spotting, rock pools bowling, mini golf, some absolute gem cafes, and Marcus somehow running out of shirts 😂

If you’ve been on the fence about a last-minute trip somewhere new, let this be your sign. You don’t need perfect weather or a perfect plan. You just need to get away and be together. 🫶

We stayed at the stunning 🤍

The bag that actually fits mum life. 🖤

I’ve tried so many bugs but nothing quite compares to my favourite bag. It holds everything without looking like a disaster zone (on the outside, at least).

Stylish & functional is every mums dream.

Who else is carrying half their house around? 👀

I recently had a reel get a lot of questions when I mentioned that I no longer feel overstimulated as I once did, thanks to L-theanine and saffron.

So I thought I’d put together a post sharing some of the amino acids, minerals, adaptogens, and mood modulators I like to use during different seasons of motherhood. And yes… I’ve tried them all. 😅

With mums, I see the same pattern again and again: overstimulation, mental load, poor sleep, and a nervous system that never fully switches off.

Currently my personal support stack is l-theanine, saffron in the AM & magnesium + taurine in the PM - this helps me feel more grounded, regulated, and resilient during busy seasons of motherhood.

Not every supplement suits every nervous system, and more is not always better. The goal is always support, not override.

I also don’t personally love relying on ashwagandha long-term, as some people can experience emotional “flattening” or feel a little “blunted” with ongoing use. It can be incredibly supportive for some, but it’s not always the right fit for everyone.

You don’t need to take all of these as different supplements offer different types of support:

✔️ Calming amino acids (glycine, taurine, L-theanine)
✔️ Minerals (magnesium)
✔️ Adaptogens (holy basil, reishi)
✔️ Mood modulators (saffron)

And remember, the foundations matter: sleep, nutrition, minerals, and rest come first. Supplements are there to support the body, not replace the basics.
