Some fresh powder brows for my first time client who’s wanted her brows cosmetically tattooed for years, & finally took the plunge 🙌🏻💃🏻

And YES I’m still doing cosmetic tattooing of powder brows & lip blush! 😄 I just don’t really advertise my beauty treatments with my tattoo clientelle bringing me the work from word of mouth (& frankly the less I have to navigate social media marketing & its weird algorithms & strageties the happier I am) 🤪

Chipping away at Amity’s horror themed back project.
We started this over a year ago with a bunch of cover ups underneath what you now see, but we’ve deviated to other areas of the body during this project as Amity is working on a full body suit. We’ve done 2 sleeves that included several cover ups, 2 stockings that also included large cover ups & fix ups, b***y which also had cover ups, décolletage which also had cover ups, under b**b & torsoe which also had cover ups…
So yeah, we’ve done a lot of reinvention & covering though out this journey! & every kind of style you can think of, it’s been my dream canvas to work on with every kind of challenge & skill utilised.

First photo is a bunch of bad guys, IT is a week old & still healing along with any other flakey bits in the surrounding area you can see.
Second photo is Carrie.
Got a good start yesterday so she’s fresh, & just as sensative as Carrie was 🤪🩸🔥
Being such all old movie it was hard finding clean images there weren’t ‘70’s lens affected 🤪 but we got there in the end. She’s tucked underneath IT & Hannibal.

I’ve been so caught up in moving house, juggling the doggos health, nursing a groin injury (my painful reward for building a 2 person flat pack my own🫠) & working- that I’ve overlooked posting tattoos & advertising for bookings! (both pretty important jobs if I want to remain employed 🤪😅🤦‍♀️).
So this arvo I’m next level mult tasking & getting back on the work socials, starting with my client & friend Nick, who comes in every year for his annual birthday ink sesh 🙌🏻🫶🏼
We’ve been adding to Nicks collection of pop culture faves & tokens for family for almost a decade, turning classic characters & photos into tattoos that look like stickers 🥰
Each design Nick gives me free rein to create his stickers, often throwing me some fun concept challenges.
Always a great session- & I feel truly blessed to have such loyal long term clients who become mates, supporting me, my craft, & my studio.

Just over 2.5 years ago, Neefaa, a tiny human fairy, flew into my studio & started to decorate her skin.
We started with a flower on the outter wrist to represent a family member, & flower by flower the family garden grew into a ‘fairy forest’ sleeve that we completed recently 🫶🏼
In the video the sunset & back of the upper arm are fresh (& cranky), while the rest is healed from 2023 onwards 🥰
Neefa has tiny arms & we needed to include a lot of characters, so it was a very detailed labor of love that we chipped away at over time to complete…before she walks down the aisle soon 🫶🏼

Most of this project was done freehand as Neef trusted me to create her dream sleeve of florals & fairies.

Turd Alert Tuesday is go!
Dan came in with a tired Star Wars themed outer arm tattoo that he was keen to reinvent.
He let me do my thing with the cover up & make over elements, while incorporating Dan’s mystery Homer requirement 😜
In the ‘after’ video most of the area is healed or in the early stages of healing with a few fresh bits.

One of my favourite makeover cover up projects. My client spent 20 yrs hiding her back not wanting anyone to see her previous tattoo. It was intended to be a mother Mary piece, but instead it looked like a drunk Mona Lisa…but a few sessions later & she’s a beautiful Day of the Dead Latina 💃🏻

With the current fuel situation & many of my clients coming from Brisbane & beyond, I’m going to offer coutersy pick up & drop off too & from Varsity train station for client bookings that are travelling from outside of the GC 🫶🏼

…& no, sadly it won’t be in the MG pictured, it barely fits me & my 2 kilo dog, itll be in my black diesel guzzling truck 🫣
& no I wont be dressing from the roaring ‘40s.
But I’ll happily pick you up from Varsity station just before your booking & drop you back straight after (anything outside of that is billed at peak Uber rates 😅).
And if fuel runs dry & I can’t pick you up in my car, I’ll d**k you on my e-scooter 🛴

It’s Tuesday, & that means is time for another turd alert adventure at Jezabelles Tattoo Lounge 😄
I do all styles of tattooing, but I also specialise in cover ups, make overs & fixer upper tattoos ☺️
Here’s a recent project where my client had an old tattoo the needed both covering up & making over. The old magpie was first covered with a lovely black cockatoo & the flora got a make over. Second session a week later, I added an all new magpie & more native flora to fill out my clients half sleeve.
My private studio is ‘by appointment only’ & located in the heart of Varsity’s CBD where it’s just yourself, no onlookers, & your choice of what to watch on the telly while I decorate your skin ☺️
