Usually I post tricky cover ups, tattoo make overs & larger projects…but yes I also do smaller pieces & fine line. There’s been a large trend towards fine line tattoos the last couple of years, & as a long time wearer of tattoos (30+ yrs🫣) & 18 yrs of doing tattoos, I know how each style wears over time in our skin as it ages.

Fine line pieces don’t often age well (especially if there executed by beauticians which is happening a lot).
I give my clients all the information to make educated decisions on their designs in reference to line weight & size vs longevity.

Ross is chipping away at a sleeve that requires some cover ups, & yesterday we buried an old star (from a very large southern cross tattoo) with a modern Bugs bunny.
As a personal touch I added the initial of his baby boy to Bugs letterman sweater 🤘🏻
Not a small tattoo it sits mid forearm, right in the spicey ditch area 🫣

Starting a make over project for a ‘sleeve in need’ 🙂
The original concept for the upper arm was 4 particular planets with a colourful galaxy fill, but unfortunately the previous tattooist didn’t quite hit the mark.
Bit of a challenge working with heavy black but we’ve now got colourful galaxy action & off to a great start 💪🏻

Yesterday I posted Amanda’s tattoo make over of Disney’s Thumper, & today is a make over of Simba.
Amanda had her Disney tattoos done years ago (by another tattooist) that she was never really happy with, & recently I had the pleasure of redecorating them 🫶🏼

I love doing cover ups, but also reinventing a poorly executed or tired looking tattoo & giving it new life 🙌🏻

Off to specsavers after this beautiful feather tattoo that’s decorated with aboriginal artwork 🤓
Super detailed, it was nice challenge to tattoo on my clients outter forearm as a tribute for her father.

Rhia had an old faded & scared pink bow she needed gone.
She wanted florals to represent family members after our first session 6 months ago, she’s back for some more family floral keepsakes 🫶🏼
Orchid, cheery blossoms & hibiscus are fresh (& a little cranky like all new borns🤪).

This is a cover up project on a clients thigh where I buried his wild past with a wild wolf 👍🏻

My tiny lion, Leo, is 6 years old today, & the 6 year anniversary of Foxy bringing this bundle of perfection into the world 🙌🏻
Today I’m ignoring all the ‘stuff’ (including the take over of our phones at 2pm by the government), & spending the day on the things that matter 🐕 🐕 🫶🏼
