We believe it is important to get the most out of every block of substrate. Once the picking is done, we bring all the compost to a local farm where it goes to improving the health of the soils and is a treat for the farm animals. These cattle run like a puppy dog when they see us drive up.
We were also lucky to have a little helper unloading the compost.
