Lee will be taking a well-deserved break from 4–18 October, so Onyx Lotus will be closed during this time.

I’ll be taking some time to recharge, reset and enjoy a little sunshine before returning to the salon refreshed and ready for the final stretch of the year. 🤎

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and understanding.

The salon will reopen Monday, 19 October. 🌿

Remembering 9/11 🕊️

I remember walking into the living room and seeing Mumsy watching the television. I asked her, “What horrific movie are you watching?”

With a shaky voice, she replied, “This is real. This just happened. It’s a breaking news update.”

We both sat there, completely shocked and in tears, watching as the towers fell.

Today, I remember those who lost their lives, the heroes who ran towards danger to help others, and the extraordinary sense of unity that the world shared in the aftermath.

Sadly, the world we knew changed that day. For a brief moment, humanity seemed to come together in a way that felt almost unimaginable — compassion, solidarity and kindness transcending borders.

We caught another glimpse of that unity during the pandemic, but sadly, that too was fleeting.

Today, the world can feel frighteningly divided — violent, volatile and increasingly driven by greed and fear.

Perhaps that’s why remembering 9/11 matters. Not just to remember the lives lost, but to remember the humanity we were capable of showing one another.

May we never forget the people, the heroes, the families — or the unity. 🕊️🇺🇸

Just a little heads-up to all my beautiful clients…

I’ll be on annual leave from Sunday 5th October through to Saturday 18th October, taking some much-needed time to recharge with Ray + Alohi 🩷🐾.

If you’re due for a refresh before I head away, I recommend booking your appointment sooner rather than later, as spots will fill quickly. Likewise, if you’d like an appointment when I return, pre-booking is highly encouraged.

Thank you, as always, for your incredible support, loyalty and understanding. I can’t wait to come back feeling refreshed and ready to create beautiful hair again.
