Sometimes we think (or are lead to believe) that to achieve results or health we need to restrict certain foods. I am here to tell you this is not the case and there is a place on your table for all foods!
Yes, we may need to adjust portions
Yes, we may need to look at balancing things out but the most important thing is not what we have to take away it is about what we need to add.

Some ideas could be a piece of fruit, some nuts, cut up veg sticks or even cheese & crackers! Check out this cute little plate of snacks 😍

Nutrition plans should be individually assessed based on the person's goals and what they wish to achieve. No one way will work for everyone.
Meal prep can absolutely help you eat regular meals throughout the day, save time when you would much rather be doing something else πŸ˜‰, save money (not buying takeout) or help you choose healthy options.
But if you love cooking, work from home or just love preparing food then meal prep may not be your thing and that's totally fine to. πŸ™‚

Dessert doesn't have to be considered bad. EVER.
In fact NO food is good or bad food.
EVERY food has a place on your table, in your fridge and even in your mouth! Even if that's for enjoyment purposes only. πŸ™Œ
My Sunday night dessert was homemade banana bread with Yo- Pro salted Caramel peanut icecream (🀀) with 2 squares of dark chocolate melted on top.
Nothing bad about that and it was very enjoyable πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘Œ

What does a Dietitian even do?
We can wear many hats and alot of us go off after Uni and specialise in different areas. But all of us have a passion for HEALTH and love educating and helping people.
I have a passion for educating and empowering people to learn about food and be able to make their own food choices, to let go of old diet habits and embrace eating ALL foods in balance.
Plus who doesn't love pancakes or chocolate cake..? Ummm nobody that's who!
