I was 24 when I opened Oi.

I didn’t have all the answers. I had a vision, a ridiculous amount of determination and a belief that I could build something different.

16 years later, the fire is still there.

But the woman behind it has changed completely.

Business has stretched me, humbled me, tested me and forced me to grow in ways I never expected.

There have been incredible highs and seasons that nearly broke me. But every single one has taught me something about who I am, how I lead and what really matters.

I used to think leadership meant being strong enough to carry everything.

Now I know it's about building people who believe in the vision enough to carry it with you.

To my team, thank you for believing in mine and bringing it to life every day.

To my family, you are the reason behind everything I do. Thank you for sharing me with a dream that has asked so much of us.

And Jess, finding someone who believes in your vision as fiercely as you do changes everything. Thank you for standing beside me.

Being named 2026 Australian Beauty Industry Awards Director of the Year is something I am incredibly proud of.
