It's , a time to recognise, celebrate and raise awareness of the more than 3 million Australians who provide unpaid care to a family member or friend.

In tune with the 2026 theme to “Care for a Carer", PCCS offers a free and confidential program supporting Carers in the Gold Coast region to set some dedicated time to focus on their own wellbeing, goals and what matters to them.

Our Coaches work one-on-one with Carers to help find practical ways to manage everyday challenges, look after their wellbeing and make space for the things that are important to them. Support is available in person, by phone or by video call, so Carers can choose what works best around their life and caring responsibilities. Find out more: www.pccs.org.au/cc

To all Carers, thank you for the time, dedication and love you give every day. 🫶

FAKE YOUR TAN, NOT YOUR MOOD.
A playful campaign with a serious message.

It's Queensland Mental Health Week and Medicare Mental Health Gold Coast is bringing mental health conversations to beaches and high-traffic community locations, like Bunnings, across the Gold Coast. Good mental health isn't built only inside a clinic. It's built through connection, belonging, purpose and community.

You don't need a diagnosis. You don't need a referral. And you don't need to know exactly what support you need before reaching out. Sometimes all you need is a place to start. Medicare Mental Health provides free, confidential information, support and connection to services that match your needs.
