There is a particular kind of tired that sneaks up on women. The quiet kind that comes from being responsible, capable and across everything for too long..
For me, water was where things started to change. A swim, a shower, a bath, even a walk along the beach. Each one seemed to bring me back to myself.
Later, after studying to become an Ocean Therapy Practitioner, I learned there was more going on. Water changes how we breathe, move, listen and pay attention. Sound, temperature, rhythm, buoyancy and horizon all give the body different information when life has become too loud.
That is what drew me to ocean therapy. Not because water fixes everything, but because it can help us settle, recover and remember another pace.
Women’s Water Wellness retreats are best described as pampering and active beach holidays with intent: movement, rest, good food, saltwater, spa sessions, workshops and conversations that go a bit deeper.
You will not be asked to perform, overshare or emerge as a shiny new person by the end of the week.
The promise is simpler than that: time in the water, time out of your usual role and enough space to notice what changes when your body has a different place to relax, expand and recover.
