Emerald Lakes Pharmacy is currently looking for an experienced pharmacist in charge Emerald Lakes Pharmacy is a privately owned pharmacy situated in the small community of Emerald Lakes in Carrara. We set ourselves apart from other groups by providing our staff with an exceptional working environment where they can learn, grow and make a difference in improving people’s health by providing them with an invaluable experience with a knowledgeable team here at Emerald Lakes Pharmacy.

This position would suit a pharmacist who is conscientious, industrious, orderly and comfortable working in a medical centre pharmacy.

They must enjoy customer interaction and the counselling of patients on the use of their medicines. We have a forward pharmacy focus.

The pharmacist will be required to work between our other pharmacy located in Maudsland.

This position requires an experienced pharmacy assistant who is enthusiastic, excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

They must enjoy customer interaction by greet customers and patients proactively, determine their needs and referring to the Pharmacist as required and have the ability to work well within a team.

The pharmacy assistant may work between our other pharmacy located in Maudsland and be willing to explore the variety of work including; Webster packing, delivery driving and dispensary work.

More than 400 cases of Norovirus has been reported on the Gold Coast since yesterday. 🦠🧼

The Gold Coast Public Health Unit has urged people to wash their hands thoroughly with warm soapy water.

“Norovirus is one of those nasty bugs that isn't killed off with alcohol based hand sanitisers," Public Health Physician Dr Vicki Slinko said.

"You need to wash your hands with warm soapy water for the time it takes to sing two ‘happy birthdays’,

"Don't send your children back to childcare until 48 hours after their symptoms have settled."
