Always remember that we can eat the best food in the world, we can move our bodies the right way, we can be toxin free as best as possible… but we are biological humans with complex and both radiating and frustrating pathways and processes.
You have to study and test and check and support it. The best way is through pathology, having and expert in how your body works AND documentation.
Every single client of mine in coaching knows I am a serious scientific nut job. I know your pathways and optional zones more than anyone else would care to know. I pick up things not even your fav GP even thinks about.
My job as a coach is find anything that’s not optional and we support it through nutrition, movement, maybe herbs and maybe some nutrients.
I don’t start with symptoms and pathology. That’s where we go once I know how just food and exercise and sleep and rest take you - we focus on the basics first and see how you respond every day. THEN we can run tests and see what else is showing up
I test every year and compare. Sometimes more depending on if I’m working on something and need to then change my protocols - but the key thing is getting the right tests and looking at the right reference ranges - do not be fooled by “everything looks fine”.
If you’re not looking at optimal range and only the ranges the labs provide you’re missing key trends and functional warning signs that could have been prevented.
