We all know that challenges help us grow. But when the walls feel like they are coming down, it can mean one key thing; you don't have enough support. These two concepts, challenge and support, sit on opposite ends of the scale. For example, too much support and not enough challenge means you are not going to grow. Too many challenges and not enough support means you are going to buckle, eventually. So if you feel like you've got too many challenges and not enough support, the best place to start is by supporting YOURSELF. Get enough sleep, drink more quality water, move your body, eat to your metabolic profile, write down your goals, and surround yourself with people who motivate you. Then, if you feel like you still can't handle the challenge, reach out to those people close to you to give you a hand. If you are still buckling, then look at ways to reduce your challenges. If you are stuck on the other end of the scale without challenges, stop playing it safe, complacency will prevent you from reaching your potential. Embrace the chaos and let it make you a more resilient, progressive being.

In my world, Sunday’s are for adventure, creativity and play. A day purely for the right brain gives the logical left side a well deserved rest. How do you spend your Sunday?

I love the problem-solving side of my work. I feel challenged when a new problem arises and a sense of progress when I solve it. Problems demand a new way of thinking and a sense of creativity, two things we as humans can thrive off when we feel centred. I am curious if others feel the same? What problems are you solving in your job today?

"When a person takes responsibility for their life and the results they are obtaining, they will cease to blame others as a cause of their results. Since you cannot change other people, blame is inappropriate. Blaming others causes a person to remain bound in a prison of their own making. When you take responsibility, blame is eliminated, and you are free to grow." Val Van Der Wall
