United Disability Care

United Disability Care Originally the company was called Accommodation Network, then later ACCNet21.

Our mission at UDC is to support people with disability to love their life and live their dreams, by achieving their goals and connecting with their communities in meaningful ways. United Disability Care was founded in 1993 by a lovely lady named Deb Stewart who wanted to provide support services to people with a disability in their own home. Its operation was focused on the rural NSW regions nort

h and north-west of Sydney, with its corporate support services and executive team offices in Tweed Heads and Ocean Shores, near the Queensland border. We provide supports in Southern QLD, Northern NSW and Mid-North Coast

Did you know some Aussie stadiums now offer dedicated Quiet Rooms? โšฝ๐Ÿ’™

Following the lead of the MCG, venues like Suncorp Stadium (Brisbane) and Cbus Super Stadium (Gold Coast) have introduced permanent sensory-friendly spaces right inside the stadium.

These Quiet Rooms include:
โœจ Adjustable lighting
โœจ Privacy curtains
โœจ Sensory tools
โœจ Communication boards

This is a game changer for fans with sensory sensitivities, PTSD, dementia, or anyone who may feel overwhelmed. More people can enjoy live sport without missing out ๐Ÿ™Œ

Itโ€™s fantastic to see inclusion becoming a bigger priority at live events across Australia (and even globally, with similar initiatives emerging at major tournaments like FIFA World Cup ๐Ÿ‘).

What accessibility features would you love to see more of in Aussie stadiums? Let us know below ๐Ÿ‘‡

Russell was also recognised as a UDC Legend, and we couldnโ€™t agree more ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐Ÿ‘ Well done Russell, we think youโ€™re amazing. We canโ€™t wait to see what you take on next!

Remind yourself: you can do this, one small step at a time๐Ÿ’™

Did you know? Over 2.8 million people worldwide live with multiple sclerosis (MS).

MS is a condition that affects the central nervous system and can impact movement, vision, mobility, fatigue, and overall wellbeing.

Raising awareness this helps improve understanding, reduce stigma, and drive progress toward better care and treatments.

๐Ÿก Supported Independent Living (SIL) โ€“ Your Questions Answered ๐Ÿ’ก

๐Ÿ’™ What is SIL?

Supported Independent Living (SIL) helps people with disability to live more independently, with personalised support for everyday tasks like personal care, cooking, and daily routines.

๐Ÿก Is SIL affordable?

SIL is funded through the NDIS for support services. Participants are still responsible for rent, utilities, and food costs.

๐Ÿค Can I choose where and who I live with?

Absolutely! SIL supports your choice and control, so you can have a say in your home and housemates.

๐ŸŒŸ Why choose SIL?

๐Ÿ”น Build independence with the right support
๐Ÿ”น Learn valuable life skills
๐Ÿ”น Enjoy a safe, structured home environment
