Happy New Year everyone!

Sorry it's been a while between posts.

Recently, I have purchased a few new testing kits. The most exciting one is the Allergy & Sensitivity Testing Kit. This testing kit is fantastic for identifying unknown sensitivities (such as chlorine), or clearing known sensitivities such as dust mites, pollens and grasses.

People that suffer from conditions such as asthma, hayfever, eczema and food intolerances may really benefit from these vials. Pets can also be treated!

You may be wondering how carrying out corrections with these testing kits can help reduce your symptoms... When kinesiology corrections are made whilst holding the relevant vials, the energetic distortion created by the particular trigger is reduced. This then allows those affected areas of the body to function more normally, as the energy is more balanced.

In addition, I also identify, clear and balance the associated emotion, pathogens and nutritional imbalances in relation to the sensitivity. This provides additional healing and balancing of the body, and can provide insight into why the sensitivity was triggered/ created in the first place!

Recently, I received a testimonial from a lovely client of mine, Bianka Barrett. Bianka's testimonial is a good example of how I can use my energetic healing ability to balance the energetic vibrations of the body. I focus on increasing the energetic strength and energy flow to a weak area in the body, whilst decreasing energetic distortion at the same time. Once these weak areas are energetically balanced, the body can begin to heal.

The following is Bianka's story:

Kate, thank you so much! Your energy healing stopped the vomiting and put me on the road to recovery.

After vomiting consistently for 16+ hours with no end in sight, feeling absolutely rotten, empty and still so nauseas I reached out to Kate’s Kinesiology & Naturopathy asking if there was anything she could do from afar.

Kate commenced a distance treatment without me knowing and I felt relief instantly. The nausea subsided and I was finally able to sleep. When I woke up I saw a message from Kate letting me know she’d picked up a gastroenteritis type virus and bacteria. Kate used the flower essence Chakra and the homeopathic Nux Vomica to help me energetically. It worked!

Following Kate’s treatment I started to feel better - the nausea stopped, the vomiting stopped, I was able to start rehydrating and resting. Within several hours I even felt like a few small bites to eat. Nothing else had worked up to that point.

It was the energy healing Kate provided that made all the difference and had me feeling better. Thank you so much Kate! You’re our family’s go to for all things health and wellness and we’re so grateful you’re in our lives. Thank you again, Bianka.

Hi everyone, Happy New Year!

I thought I would write a post to provide some advice on what you can do to support your immune system. I have been inundated with messages from clients asking me what they can do to help their bodies cope with the coronavirus and reduce its severity. Please note that these supplements are useful in strengthening the immune system for all respiratory viruses, not just COVID-19.

- Vitamin A: Vitamin A plays a major role in keeping the respiratory and intestinal tract surface linings healthy. It is critical in maintaining strong mucous membranes, which are necessary to function as a barrier against infections. Vitamin A also makes white blood cells, which are needed to fight off infections. Taking vitamin A in supplemental form can be useful for those people who lack a varied diet and who also suffer from respiratory weakness (asthma, a history of recurrent respiratory infections). Please note that vitamin A supplements must be taken with caution during pregnancy.
Food sources: Apricots, egg yolk, fish liver oils, green leafy vegetables, liver, carrots and sweet potato.

- Vitamin C: Vitamin C has many roles in the body, predominantly serving as a protective antioxidant. Vitamin C exerts its antiviral properties by supporting lymphocyte activity (which increases T cells and B cells), increasing interferon production (proteins that protect the cells against viral attack) and reduces inflammation. During the acute phase , I recommend at least 1500mg a day, split into three, 500mg doses. Please note that this is just a guide.
Food Sources: Capsicum, citrus fruits, strawberries, blackcurrants, parsley, broccoli, potatoes and sweet potatoes.

- Vitamin D: Whilst vitamin D is well known for its ability to promote calcium absorption, it also plays a very important role in enhancing the body’s ability to fight infection and decrease inflammation. Numerous studies have also shown how vitamin D helps to prevent against respiratory infections. As vitamin D dosages can vary, it is best to find out your vitamin D levels prior to supplementation.
Food sources: Fish, liver, oils and egg yolk. Getting enough exposure to sunlight is crucial! I see so many clients that are deficient in vitamin D, as they work inside all day or are worried about getting sunburnt, so avoid the sun altogether.
Supplementation recommendations for adults are 400 IU/ day and for children, 200 IU/ day. As it is a fat soluble vitamin, you do need to be aware of long term intake.

- Zinc: Zinc is involved in many areas of immunological function. It is essential for mediating non-specific immunity and for the development of acquired immunity. Studies have shown that sub-optimal zinc intake over 30 days can lead to a 30-80% loss in immune defence capacity.
Food Sources: Meat, egg yolks, oysters, legumes, seeds, nuts and dairy foods.
The RDA for zinc is 15mg, however, some people may require more than this in times of stress/ sickness. Mineral absorption is reduced with gut inflammation and therefore, zinc is a common deficiency.

- Probiotics: Countless studies have proven how probiotic strains are capable of modulating the immune system at both the systemic and mucosal level. There are many probiotics on the market, so it can be confusing as to which ones to choose. Kinesiology is really useful at identifying which strains your body needs.

- Protein: Often overlooked, protein plays a really important role in the immune system. Proteins help form immunoglobulins (antibodies) which are needed to fight infection. A diet low in protein leads to fatigue, weakness, and a low immune response. It is common to have difficulty digesting protein. If you feel uncomfortable after eating large amounts of protein (especially red meat) it may be worth investigating whether you require some digestive support.

- Herbs: Echinacea is a well know herb, that is a wonderful immunomodulator. Its actions include antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and anti-inflammatory. Echinacea is well tolerated, however, is not recommended in those people with leukaemia. Some people are also sensitive to the Asteraceae family (to which this herb belongs) and therefore, in those cases, this herb should be avoided.
There is also a tea containing the herbs Yarrow, Elderberry and Peppermint (called YEP tea) and this is very useful at reducing cold and flu symptoms.

-Water: Don't forget how important keeping hydrated is! Try and aim for at least 8 glasses of water a day.

Whilst all of the above are useful supplements to take to boost your immune health, it is really critical in ensuring that you do not have any underlying weaknesses that can make you more vulnerable to infections. Past emotional traumas and illnesses can weaken body systems, whilst genetic weaknesses can also make you more prone to becoming sick more often, with increased severity. Damage to your gut lining and mucosa layer can really make you vulnerable to infection as well. The latter demands a lot of attention, which I will cover in a future post.

Using kinesiology, it is possible to identify areas of imbalance and strengthen them, so that your immune system is stronger and more responsive.

Setting goals in a treatment is a really important part of the healing process. Essentially, these goals become part of your unique manifestation. By changing your dominant energetic vibration and reducing energetic distortion in your body, you can start to change your path in life.

Yesterday, I received a lovely testimonial from a client in Sydney. These kind words show you that remote treatments are just as effective as face to face appointments.

Thank you Lucie Stevens for this testimonial:

Kate - thank you so much! Your treatment plan has completely transformed my life. For years now, I’ve been struggling with fatigue, anxiety and IBS symptoms on a daily basis. After just two weeks of following your advice, my energy levels skyrocketed and a sense of calm entered my life. I have never felt such a consistent sense of well-being before. It was a bonus that your support sped up my recovery from being vaccinated against Covid-19.

Today I treated (via distance) this beautiful, Thoroughbred named Treasure.

Treasure has been experiencing escalating symptoms in the last 12 months, including seizures, weight loss and changes in his behaviour.

It’s been a complete mystery as to what has been causing Treasure to feel so unwell.

Through using kinesiology and my intuition, I identified multiple factors behind this horse’s ill health. Parasites, heavy metals, viruses and emotional trauma have contributed to Treasure’s symptoms.

However, the underlying factor to this horses’ vulnerability to the above, has been damage to his tight junction cells, in the epithelial layer of his small and large intestine.

Through his treatment today, and a supplement protocol to follow, I am sure Treasure will be feeling much better soon!

Thank you Verity for allowing me to treat your beautiful boy!

How Emotions Create Physical Imbalance

Most of my clients will find out in their first consult how emotional trauma has led to physical imbalance in their bodies. For most, the concept is a little strange at first -how does an emotion result in having a physical condition? And how does "clearing' an emotion help to heal the body?

Every cell, organ and component of each body system relies on a unique energy vibration/ frequency to allow it to function to its optimal ability.

And every emotion is simply a unique energetic vibration in itself.

When we experience an emotional trauma / emotional event, the energetic vibration of that emotion displaces the energetic vibration in our bodies, usually in those areas that are "weak" in our body. These areas are weak as the energetic vibration is weak (due to genetics, environment, past trauma, or a combination of all three). Therefore, it's relatively easy for the unique vibration to be "pushed" out by the energetic vibration of the emotion.

If this energetic vibration of the emotion is not released, then that area in the body continues to function, however, does so poorly. Over time, this function can become dysfunctional and physical disease becomes apparent.

The energetic vibration of emotions can also "bind" to the energetic vibration of pathogens (e.g viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungus) making them difficult to shift. It's really important that this connection is identified and the bond broken... otherwise it's impossible for the body to completely eliminate that energetic vibration of the pathogen, and, ultimately, heal.

Through releasing the energetic vibration of the emotion, the correct energetic vibration can return to that area. I have created my own "emotion bottles" that mirror the energetic vibration of the trapped emotions. By holding the appropriate one, the emotion is easily released. I also use Bach Flower remedies and vibrational vials to strengthen the weakened area.

Nutritional supplements, herbs and homeopathics are added to the treatment regime if I feel your body needs an ingestive to provide complete healing.

I don’t always treat people and dogs... today I treated a very special and sweet cockatiel named Morty.
Morty experienced some emotional and physical trauma when he found himself lost from home at the end of last year... his lovely owner very luckily got him back, however, Morty hasn’t been himself since his adventures in the wild. He also lost some of his feathers, which haven’t completely grown back yet.
Through kinesiology, it was possible to identify and correct imbalances in Morty’s digestive system, and neurotransmitter levels.
I was also able to help clear Morty’s fear that he experienced when lost.
Thank you Nikki for trusting in me to help your gorgeous bird!
