If you're feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from your body, constantly thinking, struggling to slow down or simply finding it hard to make space for yourself, you don't have to figure it all out on your own.

My approach is more than yoga, meditation or breathwork. I bring together yoga therapy, movement, breath, mindfulness and wellbeing practices to create something that is personalised to where you are right now.

No pressure. No perfection. Just a space to pause, listen to your body and begin to feel more like yourself again.

You don't have to wait until you're completely burnt out to ask for support.

If this sounds like you, I'd love to help you find a place to start.

Come as you are. We'll start there.

ā€œI experienced Michelle’s autumn reset. It was amazing! I really enjoyed the sound healing with the reiki. I left feeling so calm and relaxed! Can’t wait for the next one! I Maddisen
ā€œI recently attended Michelle’s Autumn Rest Yoga Retreat, and it was such a beautiful experience. From the moment it began, everything felt calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together.

Michelle is truly amazing at what she does. Her gentle approach to yoga, combined with her Reiki and sound healing, created such a deeply relaxing and restorative environment. You can really feel the care and intention she puts into every part of the retreat.

I left feeling completely relaxed, grounded, and at peace, exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking to slow down, recharge, and reconnect with themselves. I’ll definitely be backā€. Courtney

In yoga therapy, there are 5 Koshas, often described like Russian dolls—each layer representing a different aspect of our being.

The Vijnanamaya Kosha is known as the wisdom or intellect body. It is the layer connected to intuition, inner knowing, self-reflection and discernment.

For many women, life can be filled with competing demands, expectations, responsibilities and external opinions. Over time, it can become difficult to hear our own inner voice beneath all the noise.

Practices that support the Vijnanamaya Kosha invite us to slow down and reconnect with our inner wisdom. Through yoga, meditation, mindfulness, journaling and self-inquiry, we create space to listen deeply to ourselves and honour what we truly need.

When this layer is nourished, we may find ourselves:
✨ Trusting our intuition more deeply
✨ Making decisions with greater clarity
✨ Living in alignment with our values
✨ Setting healthier boundaries
✨ Feeling more connected to our authentic self

Yoga is not just about moving the bodyit is also about cultivating the wisdom to know ourselves. The Vijnanamaya Kosha reminds us that many of the answers we seek already exist within us; sometimes we simply need the space and stillness to hear them.

Our mental body known as the manomaya kosha in yoga consists of our mind and emotions.
This layer governs our feeling, thoughts and sensations.
Many of us have an overactive or agitated mind you may have heard me refer to this as the monkey mind. Constant worries and thoughts can impact our nervous system.

This layer also governs our 5 senses how we recieve and process information. Through yoga we are able to ease the mind and encourage a regulated nervous system and support overselves through stress.

Join me for a private session to learn mindful tools to ease the mind and reduce anxiety.

In yoga therapy, there are 5 Koshas, often described like Russian dolls layers of our being that all connect and influence one another.

The second layer is the Pranamaya Kosha, the energy and breath body. This layer is deeply connected to the nervous system, stress levels, emotions, vitality and the way we move through daily life.

When women are constantly giving, rushing, holding stress or living in survival mode, this layer can become depleted or dysregulated. Breath becomes shallow, the body feels exhausted yet wired, and true rest can feel difficult.

Through breathwork, slow mindful movement, grounding practices, relaxation and rest, yoga helps nourish the Pranamaya Kosha and gently support the nervous system back towards balance.

The breath plays a vital roll in yoga practice weather its in a group class, private yoga therapy session or simply regulating as we all move through our day.

In yoga we refer to the body as having 5 layers or koshas

The first kosha in yoga is the Annamaya Kosha, known as the physical body layer or ā€œfood body.ā€ This layer includes our muscles, bones, organs, movement, overall physical wellbeing. It is the most visible and tangible part of ourselves.

Yoga supports this layer through movement, breathwork and relaxation. Regular practice can help improve strength, flexibility, posture, balance, sleep and nervous system regulation while also helping us become more aware of the body’s signals and needs.

Yoga reminds us to listen to the body with care and compassion rather than pushing beyond our physical limits.

In class i connect students to this layer by asking

How does my body feel today?

Where am I holding tension?

What does my body need right now?
