Have you been hit by a Dragon's Sneeze? 🐉🌈

Feelings have a way of getting stuck in our bodies.

The Dragon’s Sneeze is a playful activity to introduce visualisation and movement to help kids move those feelings on.

Cleansing their energy field of any “snotty bits” or negative influences that may affect emotions and behaviours. 🪶

Take a moment to make a wish.....

First make a wish for yourselves and imagine how it would feel if the wish were to come true. Send these good feelings to all the parts of your body. ☺️💗

Then think of a loved one - a parent, a sibling, a teacher or a friend, and make a wish for them too and sent it out to the universe. 🫂💫

WELLBEING FRIDAYS AT THE ECO VILLAGE 🌞🌈

Calling homeschoolers - we've started a beautiful group on Friday mornings out at the Eco Village.🌿Starting with kids yoga followed on with a Chakradance Kids class exploring social and emotional lessons through story-telling, movement, mindfulness and art.

This week our focus is STRENGTH, COURAGE and DETERMINATION - the Solar Plexus Chakra that supports confidence, personal power and a child’s growing sense of self. 🌞💛

We follow the story of Takeo, a warrior boy who sets our on his quest to find a firestone. He has to find his courage to face some bullies and his inner strength to keep going on a tough journey.

Tuning-in 👂🎐
Nothing like a listening game to bring back focus and calm in class.🧘‍♀️✨️😅

Throughout our kids yoga classes we "tune-in" to our senses building upon our interoception skills and allowing us to stretch focus. Mindfulness in a fun way ☺️💞

A favourite with the kids, our beach yoga class is a great way to build back strength and have an opportunity to talk about our emotions coming and going like the waves and let's not forget a game of crab chassies 🦀

We paddle out in the waves to go yoga surfing!! 🏄‍♀️

Working through a variety of poses including upward dog and forward and side lunges, the class builds back strength as we also explore poses on our bellies such as the shark. We slow down listening in to seashells and focus on our wave breath to help us relax. 🌊🐚

Whilst yoga has many physical benefits, it also works with our energy centres with this class exploring both strength and flexibility whilst being aligned with boosting courage and confidence for the kids. 🌞

We're smiling our way to SWELL!!🌞

The program has been announced and we're proud to say that we will be partaking in SWELL KIDS this year!!

We'll be sharing the creative wellbeing world of Chakradance Kids™ introducing children to mindfulness techniques in playful and creative ways. 🌈🧘✨
