Fight Club - Dry Needling - Part 1 Boxers triangle

Who needs dry needling more than anyone ?? Well you could debate this for days but one thing I know is that fighters, especially in the period leading up to a fight love dry needling. Firstly because they have been putting the time in and are needing an effective treatment to the release muscle tension and keep all the muscle fibrils firing. But also they love getting rid of those niggles and tight bits that just play in the brain and can be a distraction. Feeling relaxed and strong gives you so much confidence as your amygdala and survival centres are not being triggered by your musculoskeletal system. This is of paramount

So what is the is boxers triangle and why is it so important? Well it’s at the back of your shoulder where all the muscles go into your arm bone. It’s can get very tight and lead to a whole host of problems.
