I'm a Registered Nurse and co-owner of Coastal Ear Clean.

Originally from New Zealand, I began my nursing career in the Emergency Department before making the move to the beautiful Gold Coast in 2021. After working in general practice, I discovered microsuction ear cleaning and quickly found my passion.

One of my favourite parts of the job is getting to know my patients, building genuine relationships, and catching up with familiar faces at each appointment. I believe healthcare should feel both professional and personal, and I strive to make every patient feel comfortable, listened to, and cared for.

Every day is a little different, and I love being able to help people with their ear health while meeting so many wonderful people along the way. 💙

MEET TESSA 👋🏼

I'm an RN and co-owner of Coastal Ear Clean.

After a varied nursing career, I found my way into ear microsuction - a very niche part of nursing that I unexpectedly loved straight away.

Before Coastal Ear Clean, I worked across med-surg, paediatrics, neonates and palliative care. These days, I spend most of my time helping people with blocked ears, swimmer's ear, and answering the question "should I really stop using cotton buds?" 😅

My goal with Coastal Ear Clean was to combine high-quality care with a more relaxed and friendly experience.

Favourite part of the job: the instant relief people get after treatment and the genuine connection you build with patients.
