Gold Coast University Hospital Chempro Chemist is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. We pride ourselves in providing a high level of service and are seeking a new team member with the same enthusiasm.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in providing;
- Exceptional customer service
- A willingness to learn and assist in all areas of the pharmacy
- Experience in retail pharmacy and scheduled medications
- The ability to work proactively as an individual and as part of a team in a busy environment
Requirements;
- S2/S3 certificate
- Minfos experience preferred
- Experience working in a community pharmacy is essential
Initially the position will require Wednesday and Friday availability, hours and days will increase in the coming month.

The successful applicant will have a passion for pharmacy, excel in providing excellent customer service, be able to advise on over the counter medications and be confident recommending and selling front shop products. It is of upmost importance that the applicant has the ability to work proactively, be able to multitask and cope well under pressure

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in providing;

Exceptional customer service
A willingness to learn and assist in all areas of the pharmacy
Experience in retail pharmacy and scheduled medications
The ability to work proactively as an individual and as part of a team in a busy environment

Duties of the role;

Strong focus on customer service, including recommendation and sale of scheduled medication and front shop products
Merchandising and stock control
Continual product knowledge development
Sale of NDSS products
Assisting in all areas of the pharmacy


Requirements;

S2/S3 certificate
Minfos experience preferred
Certificate in community pharmacy highly desired
Experience working in a community pharmacy is essential
The applicant will be required for 20-25 hours per week. Further training and hours can be provided for suitable applicants.

Have you noticed anyone looking more ‘blue’ than usual and wanting to know what is going on? Today is Autism Awareness Day and at GCUH Chempro, we are happy to be supporting Autism Queensland all month long with our in store raffle and our Go Blue for Autism counter unit! 💙
Tickets are $2 each or three for $5 and all proceeds are going towards Autism Queensland and their Go Blue for Autism Fundraiser. Feel free to come down and join us fundraise for this great cause all month long. Our staff will be more than happy to help. 💙
