The final prep before 100km 🏃‍♂️⛰️

It’s getting very real now! Tristyn is getting everything sorted for the Lonely Mountain Ultra 100km — going through his mandatory gear, planning his fuelling and hydration, and making sure nothing gets forgotten on race day. 😬😂

A lot of training, long runs and trialling what works has gone into getting to this point. Now it’s almost time to put it all together and see what 100km brings! 💪

12km under the belt today — Tristyn ticking off the ultra training, and Bonnie surviving her first long run in 3 weeks 😂

The 100km Lonely Mountain Ultra is getting VERY close. Excited, nervous… mostly nervous. 😳😂

Today is R U OK? Day 💛

But for us, caring doesn’t start and finish today.

We often find ourselves thinking about our clients after they’ve walked out the door…

I wonder how they’re doing?
I hope they’re feeling a little better.
I wonder how they went with that thing they were worried about.
I hope they know we’re here if they need us.

Because when you spend your days helping people through pain, injury, recovery and some of the harder seasons of life, you genuinely care about the person — not just the appointment.

So yes, today we’re asking R U OK?

But at Step 1 Physiotherapy, we’re thinking about it every day. 💛
