A special addition to our office space!

We recently had some beautiful custom cushions made by Hanny from Hanny's World.

Hanny is a talented artist living with cerebral palsy and the entrepreneur behind Hanny's World. She has created these custom cushions especially for our front lounges using colours that represent The Disability Trust. 💜

We love how they have turned out and loved supporting Hanny and her incredible work!

Our Community Programs got into the Christmas in July spirit this week! 🎄

It was a great chance to catch up, enjoy some delicious food and spend time together. There was plenty of festive cheer, dancing and lots of smiles throughout the day.

A fun way to celebrate the season a little early! 🎅❤️

Today Community Crew took advantage of the sunshine and took a trip to Wombeyan Caves! ⭐️

From wandering through the caves and taking in the incredible rock formations to enjoying the fresh air, there was plenty to see and do. It was a great chance to get out, spend time together, and make some wonderful memories with peers.

Blake, of our SIL residents has recently joined the Goulburn Mulwaree Library, and it’s safe to say he’s caught the reading bug!

Blake been excited to borrow books, explore different stories, and spend time reading. It’s been fantastic to see his enthusiasm grow as he discovers new books and builds his confidence.

Reading is a great way to learn new things, improve communication skills, and enjoy some quiet time, all while building independence. Well done Blake on giving this new hobby a go! 📚

For Patrick laundry day is always a highlight! There’s something so fascinating about watching the washing machine spin, and it’s a favourite activity that never gets old.

Along the way, we’re also building valuable life skills by helping choose the wash cycle, load and unload the machine, and learn the steps involved in doing the laundry. It’s a fun and meaningful way to grow independence while enjoying something Patrick really loves! 🫧
