Practitioners need some healing and self-care, too.
Today I had a Craniosacral Therapy Session with Crystal Hollis at the Riverside Health Clinic (and also at Clarence Natural Therapies).
It was an amazing experience, working on a core deep level on old physical trauma and stuck patterns. Just by gently touching my shoulder my body was able to release tension from my jaw, spine and sacrum - I felt held and nurtured.
By cradling my head I felt my whole body align and the psoas (which holds tension and trauma through fight or flight mechanisms) relax and release gradually.
When Crystal put her hand under my sacrum I felt a shift on such a deep level going through old patterns allowing release and healing on a very deep level.
