Surprise! It’s been a while ☺️ I caught up with gorgeous Jade today for a cuppa! Many of you have still chatted to her via emails, but we haven’t disappeared but rather have been busy in the background for a while! Jade, Alana, Ang & Bridget have been busy working via Telehealth, whilst I have been enjoying my postpartum time with my delicious 2nd baby girl, Halle 🩷. She’s 4 months old now, can you believe it!? But seriously look at that face 😍 She’s very different to my first feisty little Isla - much more relaxed & very smiley! I am enjoying having a little snugglepot again & some things are definitely easier second time around when you know what to expect (I feel like getting up 1-3 times a night is totally fine now 🫥 who am I!?) But there’s still days where I don’t think 3 of me could keep up with the jobs mummas have to do when splitting their time between babies, house, the cleaning (omg!!), partner, friends & work etc! Each day is a fun mixed bag 😆

I’ve definitely been quiet on socials (probably for a year now I reckon). To be honest with you, the joy of sharing things became a chore that you “need to do” to stay relevant & I started to loathe doing it. Our business has never come from advertising like that anyway, as word of mouth from our lovely clients has always been our priority. But as I’ve had some time away from it & the day to day running of a clinic & managing staff etc (10+ years of it!) I feel there is more space finally opening up in my mind and my life again. Look, let’s not get too excited, I’m not striving to be your next health influencer as I’m too private for that, but I am looking forward to being more connected again & showing more “behind the scenes” 👩🏻‍💻 In saying that, I am starting to open up some space for consults again in the coming months (more so after Easter). I’m looking forward to digging back in to some learning again too as I am trying to challenge my brain & shake off the dust 🧠 goodbye 4th Trimester

It’s our last week here in our Greenslopes home, which we are so sad to leave 🌸

We are still available in clinic as per normal operating hours for the remainder of this week 💗

Our last day for supplement pickups will be on Saturday 1st July from 8am - 12pm.

If you are running low on supplements that you would like to collect this week, please let me know ASAP so I can make sure I have everything you need 🛍

If you are unable to pick up your supplements by the end of the week, please let us know and we can arrange postage for you 💌

📢 Exciting News! 🌟Change is coming to our lovely little clinic from July!
After 12 beautiful years at our Greenslopes location, the MKNH clinic is making some changes to the way we do things! It is after much consideration and careful planning, we are transitioning to a fully online telehealth platform!

Life is changing & evolving for all of us and as we adapt, it has become clear that embracing technology is essential for providing the best possible care and convenience for all of you. By moving to online telehealth appointments, we are taking a huge leap in expanding accessibility and breaking down barriers that may have prevented some from seeking our services.

What does this mean for you? Well, now you'll be able to receive the same exceptional care and expertise from the comfort of your own home, office, or anywhere you may be! Many of you already conduct your appointments in your car between office and home, finding clever ways to put less on your to-do list! No more commuting, traffic, or waiting rooms. With just a few clicks, we can connect face-to-face and continue our journey toward health and wellness together.

Rest assured that this shift to telehealth will not compromise the quality of care you have come to expect from us. We have been doing this for years in fact, carefully streaming our process!

How you make appointments with us hasn't changed - you can still find times online or by contacting us all the usual ways! Our team is dedicated to making this transition as smooth as possible, so if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask. We are here to assist you every step of the way.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for your continued support and trust in us. Whilst I am sad to say goodbye to my accidently Lavender walls & oddly shaped rooms, I am so proud of how much growth those walls have seen. So much healing, pain, happiness, sadness, self improvement & self empowerment from everyone who graced this space. We're excited to embrace this new chapter and embark on a journey of wellness in the digital age (for now)!

Happy Easter MK Fam!

Just jumping on to let everyone know that tomorrow is our last day in clinic before the Easter break, which we will be here from 12pm - 6pm 🐣

The clinic will be closed from Friday 7th April until Tuesday 11th April 🐰

Now less than 2 weeks until Christmas! 🎄🎄

The clinic will be taking a short break over the Christmas/New Year period, from the 23rd December and returning on the 4th January! ⭐️

We will be open for limited hours over the next week and the first week back in clinic, so please check out our trading hours before you pay us a visit 😊

Looking for a gut-loving healthy snack? These little chickpea snacks are super tasty and ready to eat. Made with olive oil and simple ingredients it’s a quick option to include a little more plant based foods into your diet.
🫘 Each tin packs a punch with 5g of protein, fibre and a lovely 15g of slow release carbohydrates.
🫘 Chickpeas are a high source of a prebiotic called Galactooligosaccharides (GOS) which are undigested & move into the large intestine to feed your bacteria!
🫘 studies have shown GOS to be amazing for reducing anxiety and depression, gut inflammation & allergies.

These tins a great way to introduce legumes into your diet too as it’s small enough to not cause major gut irritation (especially if you are re-introducing FODMAP foods back in)!
NEW TO CHICKPEAS? Try them a few times a week on their own or in a salad and see how your tummy handles them!

Snapping broccoli stems to save money - a sign of the times! But did you know you can eat the whole thing?! It’s not just all about the green florets - the stems have a lot of flavour, texture and fibre too! It also has a similar amount of Vit C, folate & potassium as the flower head!

HOW TO USE THE STALKS:
🥦 Grate them raw into salads
🥦 dice and cook them the same with the rest of the broccoli
🥦 cut into thin sticks and sauté in a stir fry (cook until you can pierce the stem easily with a knife)

My favourite is to cook it all together and eat as a side with salt and chilli olive oil 👌🏼

Hi everyone - Monique here! I know I’m late to the Mother Day Instagram parade but in true Mum-form, I spent my first Mothers Day enjoying my littlest love {and wiping a coupla Butts 🍑 let’s be honest 😆} so I have only now sat down to put on my other “work” hat.
I hope all the mums out there were spoilt in whatever way they desired - some alone time, a massage, a coffee, some homemade pasta jewellery or maybe just a cuddle. And a shout out to those who maybe no longer have their Mummas around 🫶🏻
