As we journey through life, we often carry with us the weight of expectations and beliefs that are not our own. These are the seeds of conditioning—planted by our culture, our families of origin, and countless other influences. They can shape our thoughts, our behaviours, and ultimately, the course of our lives, often taking us away from our true selves. It's a journey I know all too well, and it's why I believe our upcoming panel discussion, "Breaking Free from Conditioning," is not just important—it's essential.
As a child, I was taught that I should be "seen and not heard," a message that led me to curate my life around this conditioning. And the "good girl" conditioning? It's a narrative that maintains the status quo, as Kasia Urbaniak insightfully points out, asking us to name one "good girl" who changed the world. The answer is stark: she can't, because this conditioning doesn't allow for the disruption needed for true change.
This realisation is at the heart of why I've convened this panel discussion. It's set to be a deep dive into authentic conversations with phenomenal women who have navigated through and overcome their conditioning. They'll share their stories, their struggles, and the liberating paths they've discovered on their journeys to reclaiming their authentic selves.
Why This Discussion Matters:
Unveiling the Unseen: We'll explore the subtle, and sometimes not so subtle, ways conditioning influences our lives, often without our conscious awareness.
Empowerment Through Stories: Hearing from women who have broken free from their conditioning is not just inspiring—it's transformative. It shows us that change is possible and that we're not alone in our struggles.
Practical Insights: Our panelists will share not just their stories, but the practical steps they took to overcome conditioning. This is about real, actionable insights that you can apply in your own journey.
Community Connection: The Q+A session at the end is your opportunity to engage, ask questions, and share your own experiences. This is where the magic of community happens—where we learn from each other and grow together.

For me, this discussion is deeply personal. It's about challenging the status quo, breaking free from the chains of conditioning, and stepping into the fullness of who we are meant to be. It's about creating a space for authentic conversation, for vulnerability, and for empowerment.
I invite you to join us for what promises to be a transformative experience. Let's embark on this journey together, towards a future where we live not by the conditions imposed upon us, but by the truth of who we innately are.
Women need other women.
