Minhi Mingaan Women's Group Our Minhi Mingaan Women's Group is held once a month, usually on a Friday for Aboriginal Women aged 18+ in the Griffith and surrounding area.

Women's group is FREE to attend with morning tea & lunch provided.

This week at Minhi Mingaan Women’s Group we’re getting creative ✨🤎

Come along for a beautiful day of jewellery and costume making, yarns, laughs and connection. There’s something special about creating together and sharing culture in a safe women’s space.

To honour Women’s Week, the Nancy Blumer Memorial at Neville Place will be glowing purple each night this week (2nd - 8th Mar) from 6pm–11pm.

We’d love to see our community head down, take a look and celebrate the amazing women around us 🥰

📸 PLUS we’re giving away custom weaved earrings to the first 10 people who:
• Take a photo with the purple memorial
• Post it to social media and tag Griffith Aboriginal Medical Service
• Visit our Programs Team at 5 Wiradjuri Place to show your post

Hey ladies ❤️

We’ve got a Minhi Mingaan Women’s Group outing coming up on 20th Feb at Lake Wyangan so make sure you pop it in your calendars 🗓️

We’ll be heading out for a BBQ lunch & spending some time gathering natural resources (grasses, leaves, flowers etc) to create our own outfits together 🌿✨

⏰ 10am–2pm
🚐 Transport available from 5 Wiradjuri Place
