Updated NDIS Pricing & Service Agreements:

As part of keeping our services aligned with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, Flourish by Nature has recently been updating participant Service Agreements and associated documentation.

Some participants, families and representatives may have received:

Updated Service Agreements
Updated pricing information
Activity-Based Transport Addendums

If you have received any documents from us that require acknowledgement or signature, please take a moment to check your emails and return these as soon as possible.

Keeping these agreements current is an important part of our compliance requirements and helps ensure that invoicing, transport and ongoing supports can continue smoothly without affecting scheduled services.

If you haven’t received anything, are unsure whether something is outstanding, or would like us to resend your documents, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

Beautiful meal prepping support happening behind the scenes leading up to our May 2026 retreat weekend 🤍🌿

One of our retreat clients is preparing to leave her children for the first time while she takes some much-needed time to rest and recharge, and facilitator Tan has been supporting her by preparing nourishing meals for the family to make the transition feel that little bit easier.

These meals have been thoughtfully prepared around the family’s dietary and sensory needs, with a strong focus on nourishment, gut health, healing foods, and practical family support ✨

Tan brings over 20 years of lived and professional experience supporting families, including raising and supporting neurodivergent children, understanding sensory feeding challenges, and learning practical ways to support wellbeing through food and holistic living.

Support can look like so many things…sometimes it’s creating safety and ease before someone takes the step to care for themselves too 🤍

Big weekend of respite and overnight supports with this beautiful boy 🤍✨

🌿 Growing on Purpose 🌿

One of the really beautiful programs we have running this term with facilitator Tania 🤍

This 10-week program is supporting a young family mum and her two children through gardening, emotional regulation, connection, mindfulness, and learning how to grow and nurture their own food and herbs together 🌱

This week focused on lavender, chamomile, and peppermint, learning about their uses, how to care for them, and the connection between people and plants. Together, they spent time planting herbs into the garden beds, watering the plants, practicing grounding and breathwork, and creating calm, connected moments together as a family.

One of the most special parts of this program has been watching practical life skills, emotional support, parenting support, and nervous system regulation all gently weave together in such a natural way.

It’s been really beautiful watching this unfold already, and we can’t wait to compare the growth of the herbs by the end of the 10 weeks ✨🌿

We currently have a few community support shifts available with Facilitator Grace through Flourish by Nature 🌿

Grace is young, energetic, soft, caring, supportive, and fantastic with both children and community engagement. She enjoys the gym, boxing, pool 🎱, social outings, family time, fitness, and connecting with others in meaningful ways.

Available shifts include:

🏋️‍♀️ Tuesday Evenings | 6:00pm – 8:30pm
Train with Grace at the gym!
Community access support including pick up, gym session, motivation/accountability, and drop home.

🛒 Fridays | 8:30am – 12:30pm
Shopping, errands & appointment support.
Grace is available to assist with grocery shopping, attending appointments, errands, and general community support.

☕🌿 Wednesdays | 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Social community support shift.
Coffee outings, lunch, early dinner, shopping, walks, hikes, health & fitness, markets, events, social groups, and more.

Perfect for participants wanting:

🌿 Supporting regulation at home 🌿

This week we created a personalised traffic light calming system for one of our beautiful families 🤍

This system is a simple but powerful way to help children (especially our ASD kiddos) understand and communicate how they’re feeling and what to do next.

🔴 STOP (Red)
“I feel angry or overwhelmed”
→ Pause, breathe, and create space

🟡 THINK (Yellow)
“I feel worried or unsure”
→ Slow down, name the feeling, and explore what’s going on

🟢 GO / SHARE (Green)
“I feel calm and ready”
→ Talk, connect, and problem-solve safely

We paired this with visual calming activities like:
✨ deep breathing
✨ music + movement
✨ drawing/colouring
✨ sensory play (bubbles, water, textures)
✨ quiet time and connection

Everything was laminated with velcro dots so the children can interact with it, move pieces, and build familiarity through play.

We also created a wipeable colouring background; something they can come back to again and again 🤍

This isn’t just a chart- it’s a tool for emotional safety, communication, and routine within the home.

Out & About with Bayley & Anthony 🌿

Facilitator Bayley supported Anthony today for a session focused on capacity building at home and out in the community.

They started the morning by caring for Anthony’s dog Bee; cleaning her pen, feeding her, and making sure everything was in order before heading off on a little adventure.

🐥 A quick visit to the duck pond (Bee wasn’t feeling it today)
🛥️ Then off to the Ginger Factory for a boat ride and some lunch
🍔 One cheeseburger (despite a good try for two 😉)
🍦 Ice cream to finish — thanks to Mum’s treat!

Anthony chose to skip the train ride after lunch, and snoozed on the drive home 💤 before helping feed Bee again to finish up a well-rounded day.

Moments like these help build real-world skills and emotional regulation, while still having fun ✨

✨ New Facilitator – Bayley is available! ✨

We’re so excited to welcome Bayley to Flourish by Nature 🌿

She is starting with us this week (training) and has some availability to take on 1–2 new clients to start next week.

📅 Availability: Monday–Friday, flexible daytime hours (approx. 9am–5pm)

⏰ Shifts: Flexible, usually between 1–5 hours (average ~4 hours)

📍 Services: In-home support, cooking prep skills development, outings, mentoring, and community connection

💫 A little about Bayley:
Bayley is a warm, caring, and outgoing person with a natural ability to bring both laughter and fun, while also offering a softer and nurturing energy when needed. She has a background in fitness, cooking, and social support, and she loves helping people feel confident, comfortable, and supported in their everyday lives.

She’s passionate about creating positive impact and excited to bring her skills into supporting families and individuals through Flourish.

📌 Training: Bayley is completing her facilitator training this week and will be ready to begin with clients straight away - from September 15th

This week we supported one of our long-term clients on a trip to Brisbane for some important appointments 💛

We took care of the drive down, stayed overnight, and brought her home the next day. Sometimes, even as adults, it’s okay to need support – especially during big days like medical appointments or long-distance travel. Having someone by your side can ease the load and make the journey feel lighter.

It’s always an honour to be that steady support for our clients 💫
