My commitment to fostering independence and enhancing the lives of those I work with drives me to create a supportive and safe environment for each individual. I specialise in assisting clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, mobility support, and participation in social and community activities. My approach is rooted in empathy, active listening, and maintaining open communication with clients and their loved ones. I aim to foster a peaceful and supportive environment, offering respite to families. I am trained in first aid and have a strong background in behaviour management, assisting clients with emotional support and helping them navigate daily challenges. My ability to build meaningful relationships allows me to encourage and empower clients to achieve their personal goals while maintaining their dignity and independence. I ensure to have continuous professional development, so I am dedicated to ensuring that my training, screenings and insurances are up to date and willing to acquire any additional training that may be of necessity.

Hello!

I am planning to relocate to Gympie, Queensland from Kilcoy, within the next 3–6 months and look forward to providing high-quality, person-centred disability support within the local community.

My availability will roughly be any 3 days per week between the hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Support outside of these hours may also be available upon request and by prior discussion, where possible.

My name is Danielle!

I am a compassionate Disability Support Worker and Mentor committed to making a positive difference in people's lives. I provide respectful, reliable, and person-centred support that encourages independence, confidence, and meaningful community participation. I value genuine relationships and believe in empowering individuals to reach their goals while feeling heard, supported, and respected every step of the way.

I started my journey within this sector in South Australia and a few years later picked up and moved to the Sunshine Coast, where I have been able to really bring my dedication, professionalism, and care to light from the bottom up.

I am always striving towards building my knowledge and forever moving with the changing times. All of my qualifications, experience, and clearance checks/IDs are readily available in an easy to read folder upon meet and greets, but access to this information can also be shared via email upon request.

In 2027/28, relocation will once again be taking place to Gympie & Surrounds. Parts of the Sunshine Coast are still open for services when this takes place.

For the time being, my books are CLOSED. However, please keep a look out for updated information in the near future 🌻
