Solid Gold Tattoo is turning 10 this month and we couldn’t be more grateful. Billi and I have been Gympie locals for the majority of our lives, and getting to run this shop alongside some amazing tattoo artists has been an absolute privilege.

We did the math recently and our crew have collectively around 100 years of tattoo experience, with deep roots in Australian tattoo history. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of the craft — the traditions, the techniques, the standards — things you can only build over time.

Pop in, say hi to Billi at the counter, and she’ll match you with the right artist for whatever style you’re after — fineline, black & grey realism, American traditional, Japanese and heaps more. People travel from all over to come see us, and we never take that for granted.
