Hope you survived the rainy weather. If you are in a situation where you need help to get through winter, there are services you can seek. Here are some local options in Gympie that offer food assistance and/or shelter support

Queensland Homeless Hotline (24/7): 1800 474 753

Salvation Army (Gympie) — 42 Stumm Road, Southside. Free breakfast (Mon, Wed, Fri 8–9am), free lunches (1st Wed of the month), hot showers, and laundry. Phone: (07) 5482 1710.

St Vincent de Paul (Vinnies) — 2 John Street, Gympie. Free food parcels (Mon, Wed, Fri 12–3pm) and low-cost food options. Phone: (07) 5481 1525 or (07) 5482 2737.

Gympie Regional Homeless Assistance Inc — Free meals Mon–Fri at 4pm (Nelson Reserve BBQ area).

Additional Support

Community Action Gympie — Emergency relief (food, vouchers, etc.) for those in financial crisis, plus youth and housing services. They can provide referrals. Check their website or call for details.
