For years I dreamt about the chakra garden I was going to build and I knew exactly how I wanted it to look. A few years ago, I created the vision and contracted someone to build the garden. I held onto that vision, as drought and voracious rabbits sabotaged it, slowly replacing plants and ‘letting go.’ The purpose was to create a space to meditate, or have a cuppa! A place that clients could enjoy and I could work with animals. I have held classes there, attuned people there, treated people and many, many pets and that was good enough. Until today. I went to sit in the garden today and it is looking splendid with some bushes flowering for the first time.

I feel so blessed most of the time, being human I also feel sad, annoyed, tired sometimes, but most of the time I feel lucky and joyful.
That has been very true for the last month or so where I have been surrounded by nature, wildlife, blooms and scents.
First came the pupae of the Imperial Jezebel Butterfly which I checked on daily and had given up on nearly 2 months later and they hatched the next day.
Eagles circling my property (there are lots of rabbits here), Whistling Kites perched almost outside the door. There was a time in my life where I was less likely to notice the good in my life, but now I go looking for it.

All of us are vulnerable to feeling like an outlier, lost, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply not quite ourselves, I know this feeling very well.
Regardless, some of us seek out healing. But what if healing isn't about fixing what is wrong with us?

For me, this is one of the beautiful things about Reiki.
I can't fix you or rescue you. I can walk beside you.
To hold a safe, compassionate space.
To offer Reiki and other gentle energy practices.
To support you as you slow down, listen within and reconnect with yourself.
You are not powerless. And you don't have to walk through the darkness alone.
