What a wonderful morning out in the community!

This week we headed down to Coles Hamilton to sell Legacy badges in support of Legacy Week. Always a privilege it was to be part of such a meaningful cause.

We are so proud of our participants for showing up, getting out into the community and giving their time in support of something so bigger than themselves. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped and donated at Coles Hamilton this morning, your generosity is greatly appreciated. 🙏

And thank you to our local Hamilton and District Legacy for the opportunity to be involved.

Happy Red Nose Day! 🔴

Everyone arrived today to be greeted with a red nose, so it was hard to have a bad day following that! A small gesture that supports such an important cause. ❤️

Footy colours on, bowls in hand... what a day out in Portland! 🏉🎳

Yesterday our participants headed to the Portland Memorial Bowling Club Inc. for their annual All Abilities Footy Bowls Day. Everyone got to wear their footy colours, bowl their hearts out and be part of a wonderful day that celebrated inclusion, fun and a healthy dose of friendly competition.

And what a day for our Mulleraterong crew! Jessica took out highest points on Rink 3, and Evan topped Rink 4... brilliant bowling from both. Then in the day's final activity, Tom produced what Sallie described as "an outstanding bowl" to land closest to the box of chocolates on the green and take home the win. Outstanding effort, Tom! 👏

The raffle table was just as exciting, Jake picked out a Tigers beanie, Jamie went home with a footy, and Sallie won a bobble head (which she swapped with Evan for the box of chocolates! 😄)

A huge thank you to the Portland Memorial Bowling Club for once again putting on such a wonderfully inclusive and brilliantly organised day. Events like this mean so much to our participants, and you can see it in the smiles. 🧡

Pyjama Day from Mulleraterong! 😴 🌙

PJs on, pillowcases at the ready, and what a week of creativity leading up to today! Over the past week our participants have been busy decorating their very own personalised pillowcases in the art room... hand prints, designs, fabric paint and plenty of fun along the way. A wonderful sensory activity that had everyone engaged and expressing themselves in the most colourful way. 🎨🖐️

The finished pillowcases were strung along the corridor in a gorgeous display, every single participant's name lovingly featured. A huge thank you to Claire for the enormous effort that went into making these pillowcases so special (lots of names went into that Cricut machine! 😄)

And congratulations to our Best Dressed winners: Shane, Maree, Jamie and Tom among participants, and the fabulous Hannah taking out best dressed staff. You all committed to the brief beautifully.

Happy Relaxation Day! 💆💆‍♀️

A day we wholeheartedly support, and one that aligns with a program we offer at Mulleraterong. Our Sensory and Relaxation program is a special part of the week for many of our participants. Through gentle music, hand massages and foot spas, the program creates a calm, nurturing atmosphere where participants can simply slow down, breathe and be.

Our Sensory Room is a space designed with purpose, offering an environment that is both stimulating and calming, with real benefits for people with a range of needs. The program is quietly wonderful, and participants who love it, really love it.

On Relaxation Day and every day, rest is important, and everyone deserves a moment of calm.
