Dr Cate Bendall and Dr Ping Lee had the opportunity to connect, learn and be part of important conversations around menopause care, women’s health and how we can continue to better support women through midlife.

There is so much value in bringing clinicians together, sharing knowledge and continuing to learn from others working in this space.

Missed a dose of your Estrogel? Dr Ping Lee explains what to do.

If there are more than 12 hours until your next dose, apply your missed dose as soon as you remember. If there are less than 12 hours until your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your next dose as usual.

Another important thing to remember is to give your Estrogel time to absorb. Avoid washing the application area, swimming or having a bath for at least one hour after applying the gel.

Save this video as a handy reminder, and always follow the instructions provided by your doctor for your individual treatment.

If you’ve been prescribed Estrogel, knowing how to apply it correctly is an important part of your treatment.

Estrogel is a form of menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) that contains estrogen. It’s applied directly to the skin, where the estrogen is absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream.

In this video, Dr Ping Lee demonstrates how to apply Estrogel, including where it can be applied, how to gently spread the gel and why you should allow it to dry before getting dressed.

Need a repeat script but can't get in to see your doctor?

Our Nurse Practitioner, Margaret, is available every Tuesday and selected Fridays to help with script and repeat prescription appointments. It's a great option if your doctor's appointments are fully booked or unavailable.

Appointments are $85, with a $27 Medicare rebate, making it a convenient way to stay on top of your treatment without a long wait.
